Dear Santa,

Please can we all have just one sticky bean each for christmas.

Thankyou

kat me also.

fondant you will be pg before SIL!!

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 02/09/2010 07:34

dachs - that's great news! Glad things are looking up.

Fx for YRMOTB and anyone else coming up to POAS time.

sunchild ((hugs)) Like everyone else, I seem surrounded by PG women here although none of them have been rude enough to nick my due date yet.

I'm also working towards a Xmas deadline, mainly because that's when DC3 was due and it will be doubly hard if I'm not pg (orig due date from 1st 2 scans was actually Xmas day, changed to 21st after 13 wk scan). All our plans for Xmas were based around the fact that I was going to arrive back from hospital showing off my shiny new baybee, in time for a sneaky glass of champagne with my Xmas dinner and have a lovely big family Xmas. Now I'm not sure I can face any of it.

So definitely BFPs by Xmas for everyone please!!

CD21 here, 10th day of high on CBFM, still no peak, grrr! Am actually not wanting to see a peak now since it's easier to tell myself it's just getting to know me and missed my surge 1st month than to think I'm ovulating on day 22 or 23 out of 29 - what fecking use would that be?!!

PinkFondantFancy · 02/09/2010 08:10

Hello all. I haves confession to make. I POAS this morning. BFN and a foul mood to go with. And I keep wanting to cry for no reason. Sounds like PMT to me.... Gah why do I do it to myself, even if I am updiffed with AF due monday today was too early to detect it anyway.

really I can't believe you restrained yourself from slapping your friend. You guys are all so much more patient and forgiving than me, I would be running out of friends at this rate if they said things like that to me.

I was originally hoping for updiffedness by oct as I've got a really good friend's wedding then and should have been nice and big by then :( secondary target is Christmas as had planned to pack up work then and the thought of going back to work in jab with no sticky bean and no maternity leave in sight is just too depressing.

PinkFondantFancy · 02/09/2010 08:14

Good luck all you teachers that are going back to work this week, hope the little darlings behave themselves for you! I'm not a teacher by the way but have log of respect for anyone that can control 30+ kiddies all day!!

Hope everyone else has a fab day too x

MamaPower · 02/09/2010 09:14

Pink you naughty little minx, but we all do it and crying is totally excepatable! NO more testing though or I shall get the haddock!

Nickster you make me smile, I like your little mantra Smile

Well my gorgeous DH must be feeling guilty that he's off again tom and then I won't see him for another 4 weeks (I know, not looking like TTC is an option next cycle) so has told me to go shopping on his credit card this morning...big mistake! He did that after my first mc and I hit the shops in London (don't live london btw), like a total shopaholic! mwah ha ha ha!

Hope you all have a good day my lovelies x

youremindmeofthebabe · 02/09/2010 11:49

Hello all!
nickster I loove your poem! Made me smile a little, which was a hard feat to accomplish seeing as I am sulking in a bad temper. I think I shall join your slightly narky club pinkff. Can we sit in the corner and wear stony faces and grumble about pregnancy tests and stuff? We could throw smarties at happy people.

I poas'd again today, another of the same tests, after i promised myself i wouldn't. And there was an eensy faint line there, which was only visible after 10 mins, again, so am convinced it's an evap line. Also the fact that I am in a terribly foul mood, makes me think that rtd is on it's way. [slaps self and pulls self together] I dont think i knew it would affect me this much, as i've only had one rtd since erpc on 1st june. I know i'm going to be at the top of the list forever..

velvet i have my fx for an implantation bleed for you, good luck!

kat am glad your first day back went ok. Good of them to acknowledge it for you, better than ignoring itSad. It really is back to the grind! What age do you and velvet TEACH? I AM DOING AN ENGLISH DEGREE WITH A VIEW TO TEACH PRIMARY. Bloody caps lock, sorry am on phone and can't be arsed to go back and change it.

i agree with izzy, it's very rude of people to nick your due date. I only know 2 pg people.(in rl) I wish i was one of them.

Gonna have to love you an leave you and eat crap do some work.

Big hugs to you all x

youremindmeofthebabe · 02/09/2010 11:54

god that sounded miserable. Just ignore meSmile

owlshoes · 02/09/2010 12:01
IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 02/09/2010 12:32

((hugs)) to all who need it. BOA I think everyone is allowed a few nights of drinking way too much, crying hysterically, and generally making a show of oneself post-mc. I did it on holiday in front of my mum and dad Blush, no gin involved but did basically drink my own body weight in wine. Not pretty.

velvet - I had prolonged ( a week?) implantation bleeds with all 3 PGs, and with DS as I have said, I had a whole seemingly normal period, so don't give up hope yet! Fx

YRMOTB - surely any line is potentially good news? Fx it turns into a proper BFP.

If it makes you feel any better, I got myself convinced after reading another thread that the 10 days of CBFM highs could be an early indicator of diffness, so despite having NO symptoms and, indeed, no indication that I've even ov'd I POAS yesterday (on day 20 !! What kind of madness is this??!!). Bfn. Obviously. In my defence because I've had RTD during PG before I struggle to accept it as a foolproof sign on non-diffness but still...

Any fish this way, then, I'm ready...

randomimposter · 02/09/2010 13:15

blimmin eck
busy on here

will do my best to read back and catch up... back online after house move...

still bleeding lightly after ERPC but enjoying pate, white wine and gruyere like there is no tomorrow...

am now just pissed off that am not pregnant...

feel a bit like someone who has failed their exams AGAIN and whilst the grads are all off on their degree course, I've got to get my revision notes out again, hit the books, time my study slots Wink and get ready to sit the test again Angry...

fucked off with it all tbh

will try to be more Jollster when I pop back; wave to all

ah jollster you were so kind to me when i MC. Im sorry you are feeling so WANK (and it is shockingly wank i am sure)

YROMTB - Im sorry you have a FFS and i have FX for a BFP - i get you though. my cycles before MC were 40 days and i do get your frustration :(

Fondant Chin up toots :) sorry u are on the grumpy sofa today make room for one more and you too YRMOTB

BOA i hope you are all cried out now. Dont drink GIN!!! Evil stuff, makes you cry Sadneed to cry toots, let it all out - feel better after :)

Mamap your DH sounds fab, fancy a swap?!

Izz just been shopping and got some fishy goujons will they do... nope thinking about it they are chicken! Doh

Glad the poem chant made you smile, i know i am quite a saddo but it was fun! good therapy. Have a good day everyone, best do some work Confused

barrenbrook · 02/09/2010 15:17

jolls was thinking about you this morning as it goes, wondering how you were holding up. I'm guessing the shitty fooked off feeling is completely normal, don't be feeling pressure to be all happy jolly jollster if you don't want to be, espesh on here like! I know I was a right old grumpy bitch when mmcx3 came our way. I still am to a certain extent! Blush

prettymrsg and moo I've missed you all too, this thread is proper mental busy now, it's hard to keep track sometimes but I promise to swing by on a more regular basis Smile

Oooo, before I forget, would someone be so kind as to stick me down as CD1 please when the list next gets updated. Am posting on phone and can't do it on here. RTD arrived this aft. Thanking you very muchly.

On a separate note, I had a letter back from Consultant today about blood test results I had done after mmc x 3 to try and identify if there were any problems and apparently there are none. However my thyroid test was apparently slightly abnormal so have been asked to get that checked too. Thing is, the letter doesn't say anything else, nothing about DH's blood test result, nothing about carrying on trying, nothing about further support if we do get updiffed again so what do I do??? Should I ring and try and speak to the consultant do you think? Slightly puzzled at what to do next and feel like I've been abandoned (probably a little dramatic but that's how I feel! Blush )

MamaPower · 02/09/2010 15:50

Hey girls, just a quickie as on phone! Wanted to let you know that one of my many purchases today was a purple murano bead for my pandora bracelet, most of my beads have a sentiment/meaning attached to them and this particular bead will be worn in honour of all us ladies on here, because u r all so fab and supportive x

MummyAbroad · 02/09/2010 16:47

ooooh I have been away too long, and its hard to jump back in!

Nickster LOVED the poem, keeping going back to read it when I need a giggle!

BOA There is NO fish slapping for crying, just big hugs and a pack on the back - its GOOD to let it all out. Gin part is optional.

Jollster - Hello, we spoke on another thread, I am so sorry for you losses, I think you deserve a special honorary degree for strength of character after all you've been through.xxxxx

barrenbrook Hi, yes, phone them! Was your thyroid under or over active? I have had over active thyroid once, was easily cleared up. (I believe both conditions are easily treatable) Get more info! Good luck xxx

Love to all xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Well that was a hard day, brings new meaning to 'shop 'till you drop'! I am very very lucky and very very spoilt!
Nickster, BOA and Owl, you were almost certainly with me in spirit, see post above!

I can see I am gonna have to go on fish slapping patrol; Izzy, me and you are quite close with our cycle's so...no more POAS!! Let's hold out for at least another week!

Jolls I can't say anything that'll make any difference so am just sending lots of love.

YRMOTB and all in need of a hug...big squeeze xx

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 02/09/2010 18:34

mamapower -definitely! RTD due here Friday so I'm going to try to hold out until Saturday (if it doesn't arrive), how about you?

BackOnceAgain · 02/09/2010 18:51

MamaP that's soooo lovely,I am really touched, thank you Smile

Thanks also to be told that I am not being so ridiculous by drinking and crying, I know its not the answer (alcohol) but I just feel like it right now, in a rebellious way.

So I'll say cheers and big hugs to all who need one xx

DachshundsRule · 02/09/2010 18:57

oooh MamaP what have you been buying (apart from the fab bead :) )

I WISH DH would give me free reign over his credit card for a day. Not sure his bank manager would be so keen Hmm

jolls sorry you're feeling low.

nickster liked the poem and am sending positive vibes to get the santa letter to the top of his list. FX for all of us that it works!

sunchild, boa and anyone else having a crap day, I've provided a big soft snuggy sofa and drinks on tap for all of you, so welcome to the club room.

hard couple of weekends coming up, being surrounded by babies, pregnancy and smug sil who makes we want to throw things at her every time i see her. i think a stiff drink is in order. i just wish i could have one :( I think i need to come and join you in the grumpy/unhappy room. room for a little one?

Hope you are ok Jollster - its all sooo shite!!!

Lol at the list - I am not on CD230, just plain old 30 otherwise I would defo have POAS by now! Speaking of which - which brand of said stick is most sensitive? Spotting has stopped (for now) but still not getting my hopes up.

YRMOTB I teach science at secondary school. I have the year 9 nurture group tomorrow so wish me luck everyone!

big hello to everyone else!
