Shall I buy a test today people? I did do one on monday am but it was negative. I took my temp today and it was 36.617. Is that still high viv or hairy? Or more likely just a blip.. There's no way i'll be updiffed anyway cos my swi didn't really coincide with an ov 14 days ago..

Sunchild I would never test before 12dpo personally. Are you 12dpo yet? I would also use FMU - even if that means storing it in a pot in a MrsPV stylee til you get some sticks.

Bee I would be upset at DH too. My DH called yesterday to ask whether to take tues or thurs off for our appt next week and I thought it odd that he had to ask. Now I am counting my blessings that it was even on his radar. I would still give him a row, even if he is required for a shag later. Izzy it is all a bit calculated at times, but needs must. I remember clearly a Saturday morning in May 2006 when my chart was telling me it was prime time but DH was not in the mood. I had to persuade him and we got there in the end. It was either that morning, or the next evening, that resulted in DD so i don't care if that's what needs to be done and it isn't the most romantic event.

Choccy the cheat list hasn't been compiled yet. We'll need to add all those vitamins to it when we get around to it, if not the dubious Agnus Castus! And a seperate list from Nickster of substances to grind into DH/ DP's food.

Welcome Tam, i have used OPKs for a while too. I've seen that happen before and I assumed that my body was gearing up to OV but it didn't happpen for whatever reason. That might be a flawed explanation though. It happened to me 4 weeks after my ERPC, then the following week I had darker lines and defintely OV'd (confirmed by rise in temps)

I could throw some fish fingers around if that helps....

Today was my first clinic appointment for the IUI. I was REALLY worried after everything they'd said last time about bugger all follicles, but today there were several, so FX it'll all go well.

Now have to start taking pills that will make me into a hormone crazed psychotic b (In DH's words - 'How will I tell the difference'? )

Tightie whities (I think) are the very white knickers that you wear as a kind of 'temptation to fate' for AF to arrive. ie. if you wear white pants, you're BOUND to come on.

It's like putting on your worst pants before going out on the pull - if you're wearing your most hideous hole-infested pair of granny belly-pants, you're bound to end up in bed with the man of your dreams.
