Late AF but -ive test!!

Thought I might consult the mighty MN oracle re the above problem! AF was due on Sat but has yet to turn up. I know its not long but usually am like clockwork! Two digital tests (Sat and Sun) both -ive. I feel sick and had sickness and upset tum Friday night / sat morning. I also had rotten gastric flu for first two weeks of cycle so didnt really eat for week or so and was really knocked out. BD been veeerrry limited but we are vaguely ttc no 2 so was kind of around possible ov time.
I don't feel preg except feeling queasy, could illness have delayed things or could this be false negative? Am quite terrified at thought of having two but slightly broody at the same time!! Just being driven mad by this uncertainty!! Any helpful thoughts?

Whitey that's because the best way to take your mind of things like absent AFs is to spend all day on MN talking about it with other crazy and deranged MNers also missing their AFs.

Haha no I just know I am a marketing man's dream, so the most expensive one in Boots would be the one I would buy since there must be a reason it's so expensive

So online, the cheapy ones pop up as a favourite now

To be clear, I have bought 2 packs (so 4 HPTs) and used 1 pack (of 2). I am not making myself my very own clearblue river/mountain/giant plastic stick

i popped out and bought 1 today, ive had the bodycare ones but wanted an early testing 1. so i went to wilkos and bought the predictor ones. it says u can use it 5 days before period due, which is me today. but im not using it until a few days as i know when you test too early it can turn out a waste of money as it can still say neg even if its not. thank u to all of you

I couldn't wait and tested this morning. Still nothing. Grrrrrr. Shall be leading the testing tomorrow though (with a different test type I feel).

Good idea choccy, Mr Crazy has already said he is going to run me a nice bath when we get home and chuck a glass of wine in my hands. This month's Red got delivered yesterday too wooohoo. Really looking forward to getting home now

Well I tested this morning - BFN. Boo. Though AF isn't due til Monday anyway. Today's CD29 of an expected 31. I'll try again if nothing happens Monday.

And there was me thinking that I'd be preggers the very first time I peed on a stick!

i wrote about the cheap tests yestaday, i got one and wasnt going to do it till my period due which is 4 days but i did it this morning, and there is a faint line on it took it to bits to look closer and when you do that its defo a line or8.

AF is Aunt Flo. As in 'I can't go swimming tomorrow as Aunt Flo is visiting'. Strange, I know.

Settling in for another slightly despressing sober Friday night in. At least I have another PIAJ/POAS to look forward to tomorrow.

i shouldnt be even 17 days post ovulation. god knows my body has done stranger things last time i got preg at the end of my period, but i got a posative yest 4 days before af due.

i got a bfp too! Line was definitely there, and not even all that faint. Think I'm going to buy a digital that tells you the dates

Did my fancy digital test, so now DH believes me. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! We only started trying 2 and half weeks ago (NMCB dodges flying kippers as is aware not everyone is as stupidly fertile as the NMCB's).

its ok NOMORECHOCBISCUITS lol, ive done 3 now and got lines on them all, just did the 1 yest and didnt want to believe it yest.
thats same as me wasnt even trying really just was bit careless, a few times.
