evening all,

Cocktails on Friday were excellent - and DS even played ball on Saturday morning and let us sleep in til 9:30!!!
Quiet day yesterday, then decided that for my last day of 'holiday' I'd ditch the family and go shopping by myself. Had a good ol wander around bluewater, bought stuff, came home with sore feet and a lighter wallet, all good Grin
Time spent on the train musing about what to do about sexx til AF arrives, insist on contraception still or just not. Think not. Horse bolted etc.

Am glad I'm not the only one easily confused about EWCM issues Grin

Magic hope you get through this week ok. I'll be thinking of you on Wednesday. It still gives me a little grin when I think of your double diffed-ness. Fingers crossed for your sis.

lottie you sound like you're getting ready for battle Smile, good luck for this round.

hairy honestly sweetpea, that test was only going to cause you grief. But don't beat yourself up about waiting or age, you play the hand you're dealt. Only thing you can do is keep on keeping on, and finding ways to help you through it. Did you try accupuncture already? Lots of people do seem to find it helps with the emotional side of all this. Cut yourself some slack m'dear, you've had quite a lot of emotional stuff to deal with too.

viv staying up is good at least - not sure when a fall would be expected.

Freezing Sorry matey, hope you've got some good comfort lined up for getting thru the AF arrival.

Jolls well you know there's pros and cons about the ERPC, if it does end up going ahead, big squeeze either way.

Northern well done on making it to MW booking in Grin, that's a big milestone in my book (both MCs this year have been confirmed the week MW appts either made or due Sad). Hope as time goes on you'll start to relax a little more.

Cheepz, HOwl, PinkIcedTreat and all others I've missed, nice to see you.

oh gawd...back to work tomorrow. Do I have to? really? sigh. Better try to find something to wear.

PinkFondantFancy · 23/08/2010 08:13

Hello all! hairy I agree with ladybee, don't let the drs put you off-you've got pg once, you'll do it again!!

Good luck on the return to work lady hope it all goes swimmingly.

So, I guess I am now officially on the 2ww!! Eek!

PenguinsMummy · 23/08/2010 09:26

Morning all.

Mama thanks for the Mistresses update - def have to watch this weeks finale.

And I'm also v excited that X Factor is back - love it!

Charlie & Lola was really good - DD's and friends DD's all loved it. The props that they used were great and the way that Lola's imagaination scenes worked was really good.

We got a bit carried away and booked to see the Cinderella panto on Christmas Eve - God only knows if they will sit through a 2.5 hour show - but it's a small theatre and we are in end of row seats so they can jump around or we can escape to the loo easily enough....hopefully........Smile

VivClicquot · 23/08/2010 10:41

Morning lovelies x

Oooh caribou, what a lovely new name! Yes, I take the EPO and Zinc alongside Pregnacare Conception, and DH is (grudgingly) on Pregnacare for boys, as well as the zinc.

hairy - hope you're feeling a bit brighter this morning.

cheepz - hope you're okay, doll? your message sounded ominous.

magic16s - hope your sis is doing okay today?

Where's battery? I want to know what her temps were, as mine have gone up again this morning to above 37 degrees...

xx

batteryhen · 23/08/2010 11:20

Here I am viv. Ooooohhhh. Your temps sound good - you are practically at boiling point! My highest was 36.86, which I thought was hot - but you are a red hot lady!

Dont worry if you don't have any other symptoms - I didn't and still don't. ,(trying not to fixate on that too much).

When do you plan to test?? I am very excited!

Must dash - off to lunch with a pal, not telling anyone about me being pregnanat yet - I am still in shock myself Shock

VivClicquot · 23/08/2010 11:34

Hmmm. Today was 37.03 (12dpo), yesterday was 36.92 and Saturday was 36.89, so it's definitely creeping up. AF due on Wednesday. Not even thinking about testing because that way, madness lies... Wink

sarahmia · 23/08/2010 11:45

morning all ladies...

congrats battery not sure if i said it already so i am saying it now!

viv hoping the high temps mean something fantastic!

hairy i agree with pink.. go for it!

magic dont know how i missed that your having twins butttt... oh my! that is super exciting! really made me smile... hows your sis doing??

Im very excited to go home and watch mistresses. Not sure what i will do with DD maybe lock her in her room??Hmm
that was a joke before anyone calls the social on me!

8 days untill scan!!!! think i may cry.

youremindmeofthebabe · 23/08/2010 11:53

Good morning all!

Hope you're all good, I've been out all weekend, enjoying myself etc. And of course i didn't test on Saturday before I went out, oh no, cos that would be silly with over 9 days to go before AF due wouldn't it??Hmm
So, that was negative, unsurprisingly. But night out was good, but I missed xfactor! boo. I must remember it's repeated on a Sunday am.

I feel the need to get sore feet and do some shopping ladybee, that sounds like an ace day.

Ooooh, viv am so excited for you! Big fingers crossed over here!

Off to buy some Zinc now, take care lovely ladies.

owlshoes · 23/08/2010 11:57

Oooo viv that sounds promising, fingers crossed.

LadyBee hope it isn't too dreadful being back at work :)

Northern hope the appointment goes well!

8 days, that's come around quickly sarahmia , really hoping it all goes well on the day.

The rest of you with suspicious (promising) symptoms, I'm watching you all! I'm absolutely certain we've failed to SWI on the right days so am spared the agony of the 2WW - which does make life easier. Might buy one of those monitor thingies for next month, people seem to think they're good? Bloody expensive though.

owlshoes · 23/08/2010 11:59
KnitterNotTwitter · 23/08/2010 12:03

Hey lovely people

Back from our holidays and thought i'd say a quick hello. The week in Mallorca was fab.

And there was some sort of SWI.... still haven't had my period at the end of the WTF cycle....so if any of the SWI did anything I'll have no idea where I am cyclewise - will test on the 1st if AF not turned up by then I think.....

OK back to work - will do a proper post when i've caught up with everything....

Missed you all...

youremindmeofthebabe · 23/08/2010 12:27
Velvetcu · 23/08/2010 12:44

ok I think I'm in need of a haddocking too!!! Something is going on down there, I'm getting twinges and my boobs are sore n popping out of my bra but I think AF is just on her way early.

This whole ttc thing is going to drive me insane I think!

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 23/08/2010 13:39

Right - day 11 of cycle 1 and CBFM is still showing "low": is this normal?! Shouldn't it have started to move to high yet? (ucl pre-mc 29 days, not expecting it to vary hugely post- mc since WTF cycle was only 30)

Can anyone advise?

(sorry not to name-check on this one, sneakily tapping away at work so can't get away with long post, but think all the symptoms sound promising, and am adding all the random foodstuffs, vitamins etc to my ever-increasing list)

Chocolatedays · 23/08/2010 14:42

Hello! May I join you? I'm not a prolific poster but have valued lurking on here.

I wonder if any of you can advise: I have a mc (natural - tho new before hand) around 25th July. I'm still in the WTFC and have very confusing CM.... anyone on here an officiando of the delights of EWCM (!?) as it seems to be going on for ages. Thought af was on way... but today yet more EWCM. So confused.

Thanks

KnitterNotTwitter · 23/08/2010 15:17

Chocolate so sorry to hear that you're over here. I think we were on the Feb 2011 bus together....

I MC'd a week before you and so am also still WTF cycling. I had about 3.5 weeks of on off bleeding/being rather (ahem) mucus-y.... No AF here yet either. i think you just have to assume that your body is going to be all weird for a while - the concensus seems to be that it's about 5 weeks before your AF comes back....

hope that helps

KnitterNotTwitter · 23/08/2010 15:18
Velvetcu · 23/08/2010 15:48

Chocolate/Knitter I didnt have AF for 9 weeks after ERPC if that helps any.

Chocolatedays · 23/08/2010 15:57

9 weeks. Blimey. Was hoping to be ttc well before then.

The ewcm is very confusing.
I also have lower back ache almost constantly and worry that it is related to the mc in some way.

owlshoes · 23/08/2010 16:04

Welcome chocolate (great name btw) :)

And helloooo Twitter - now you've made me waste work time looking at holidays, I could just do with some sun, sea, sand etc.

The EWCM is baffling and I am sure my body is doing it wrong so sadly cannot advise. I seem to get it about 5 days after the OPK gives me the thumbs up, ergo, surely too late to be useful. Bloody stupid bodily fluids. Does anyone else get this too?

Izzy perhaps you are going to ov on day 14/15 or so and it just thinks it isn't quite time yet?

KnitterNotTwitter · 23/08/2010 16:26

Velvet 9 WEEKS - aggg.... I think I just want to know where I am and 9 weeks would drive me bonkers. I haven't had any blood/lochia for a week now so I'm hoping that things are normalising down there...

Personally i've never really got the hang of my CM.... DH and I just rely on SWI three times a day from the moment my AF finishes.... :)

hairytriangle · 23/08/2010 16:49

aw thank you all for nice encouraging messages. Feel loads better today. Am sure AF is on the way - still have zits and big, sore boobs!

Welcome chocolate

chocolate knitter my AF came back two weeks after my bleed (which had lasted about 5 weeks) stopped, during ectopic/mc.

It really does vary from person to person.

LadyBee · 23/08/2010 16:53

Three times a day!!!!!!!

batteryhen · 23/08/2010 17:02

Hello - knitter and chocolate I bled for 8 weeks, then had a week free, then bled aagin for a week, then had AF about 4 weeks after. Bloody bodies.

I am a bit miffed. I met up with a friend for lunch who said 'oh I heard a rumour you were pregnant with twins' (which of course I was - and had MMC in March). Now the only way she found this out was because the practice nurse I spoke to to book in to see the midwife is a mutual friend of hers and some others. So she told a friend who told a friend ( we live in a small area!)

I am really pissed off as this nurse has told about 3 people that I was pregnant.Surely this is confidential stuff? Not that it really matters now,but if I wanted those people to know I would have told them Angry

Am certainly not telling anyone about this one.( apart from you lovely lot :))

KnitterNotTwitter · 23/08/2010 17:09

hairy I'm chuckling at the concept of a chocolate knitter.... but then I'm easily pleased...

battery yep definitely should be confidential - you could report her to the GMC or nurses equivalent if you're feeling very pissed off or just use the complaints process at the clinic/hospital

ladybee - yep - one in the morning and two in the evening. DH enjoys feeling like superstudman but doesn't enjoy how quickly it gets me pregnant - with the one I just misscarried I then went off sex for 2 months!
