now I'm officially on the 2ww can someone take over the haddock?

I think I'll require a bit of slapping myself!

PinkFondantFancy · 16/08/2010 18:47

jolls I'm really sorry to hear your news, I'm thinking of you

izzy sorry you've ended up here-fingers crossed you won't be around here long!

wiggle best of luck for tomorrow

Big congratulations penguin!!

Sorry to all the people I haven't namechecked, on the phone as per usual...

batteryhen · 16/08/2010 18:51

Just having a pass through and just wanted to send my love to jolls. Your post made me want to cry with the unfairness of it all. Beer is not a bad option at all xx

Moofold · 16/08/2010 19:14

Jolls fixed the list for you pal. Put on next to me on the WTTC list, hope that's ok x

Wiggle all the best for tomorrow. I've had 2 ERPCs now under GA and they're not so bad - under the circumstances at least. Sure you'll be absolutely fine and make a speedy recovery.

Izzy sorry I didn't say hello before. Sorry to hear about your loss. That must have been a terrible shock for you after a good 13 week scan. Hope you are getting through these early days alright.

8s she was grand, just mummy that was a snivelling wreck. She's excited about going back tomorrow so that's a good sign!

Sunchild where abouts are you? We're not far outside Glasgow

jollster am so sorry to hear that. Beer and chocolate very good. So sorry that you have to go through this again.

tigger15 · 16/08/2010 19:18

jolls really sorry to see you back.

The only situation in which beer is inadvisable is just before getting behind a car wheel with a policeman stationed on the next road. I think beer, wine and cocktails are recommended for mmcs (with a nice mix of hayfever pills in my case).

hairytriangle · 16/08/2010 19:24

Daschund we could take it in turns to slap each other!! :) you me and Digi could form a triangle-of-haddock-slapping

sarahmia · 16/08/2010 19:44

jolls I am so so sorry! i really dont know what to say.

Choccybick · 16/08/2010 19:53

HI there everyone,
Was about to start new thread but thought I might find some advice among you.
Had a natural MC last month in 7th week. Just got my AF at the weekend and wondering

  1. whether to wait 3 months as doc advised
  2. not believe in the "waiting 3 months" as heard on news a couple of weeks ago and go for it in next couple of weeks or wait till next month until we´re on holiday in Greece (wink) Is there really still sense in waiting?? Im 36,overweight but can´t see me losing a few stone before getting pregnant again....
sarahmia · 16/08/2010 20:29

choccy..
a few pieces of advise (some of straight from a midwife's mouth) 1. you dont "need" to wait. it all depends on how you feel, if you feel ready to give it another shot. (i did)
stick around this thread untill you get your next bfp these lot are fantastic for the highs and lows!

Velvetcu · 16/08/2010 20:53

Sorry to hear that Jollster :(

MamaPower · 16/08/2010 20:56

Congratulations Penguins

Jollster I don't know you as I came here after you had graduated but I just wanted to say I am so sorry to hear your news. Look after yourself.

Hi Izzy, sorry you're here, I have been showed so much warmth and support so you are in great company.

Sarah, wedding's are emotion filled at the best of times, bless ya for having a good cry!

Choccybick, Totally agree with Sarah's advice and just a note, don't be shocked if your UCL is nowehere near normal this cycle! We've all had the WTF cycle following mc...you just don't know where you are!

Hugs to all as usual x

PS Think I might have cocked up the list when I did it yesterday...don't think I changed the CD of those on the WTTC list...can you just check, sorry me dears!

DachshundsRule · 16/08/2010 21:35

choccy I think you'll find that a lot of us on this thread have gone straight in and tried again as soon as we were ready. Me and DH certainly aren't waiting. It's all about when you feel ready.

hairy lol at the thought of a haddock slapping triangle - nearly as funny as the thought of hormonally charged TTCers demanding better rights that we were talking about last week!

Seems like a lot of people may be in need of wine and chocolate this evening, so I've restocked and am handing out a large glass of wine and a big choccie bar to everyone. I've also laid in a supply of large fluffy teddy bears to cuddle for those people without a DC or who are missing their DH.

I'd rather you didn't nick my dachshunds, but everything else in the cupboard is fair game, so feel free to grab supplies.

big hugs to everyone

PinkFondantFancy · 16/08/2010 21:36

Hi choccy sorry to hear about your MC. I reckon if you're feeling up to it you should go for it!

sunchild77 · 16/08/2010 21:58

Moofold ooh we are in the east, dont want to say exactly where (fear of outing myself completely) but v near Edinburgh.. We used to live in Sunny Motherwell a few years back.

Choccy Im in the same boat as you, wanting to start trying again but way too nervous!! Im overweight too, but kidding myself with "whats the point - if I get pg again?"

Sending lots of love to everyone who is a bit down tonight....

Night night lovely ladies

digitalgirl · 16/08/2010 22:36

A mixed day

jollster am so very very sorry Sad

penguins wonderful news for you! Wishing you all the best with this bfp.

A friend had her baby that was due around the same time my first mc pregnancy was due. Bit depressed that I'm not pregnant as we all hope we will be by our past due dates. But looking forward to seeing the baby and getting a fertility boosting cuddle. (how extremely selfish does this paragraph read?)

Right, is this the kipper here? Who wants a slap? Anyone testing at 7dpo please step forward. (am only 4, so of course I have at least 6 days to go before I need restraining. )

LadyBee · 16/08/2010 22:58

jollster sweetheart, my heart is aching for you, you poor thing. I'll be thinking of you as you get through these next few days. So very sad for you. Sad

izzy really sorry to hear of your loss, I do think the losses after 12 weeks are particularly cruel - so much emphasis on being 'safe' at that point. Good luck with the CBFM, they can be surprising things, I've read lots of ladies discover they were ovulating later or earlier than they believed. Hope it's helpful for you. I'll be embarking back on mine when my AF arrives (whenever that is Hmm).

PrettyVacant1 · 17/08/2010 00:55

Jolls I am so very, very sorry.
It is total shite that you're having to go through this again.
Have as much beer as you want!
Much love to you all xx

Morning ladies - a quick post and run question. For all the ladies who temp - I am 9dpo today and have had a sharp rise in my temp. I am new to the temping so am wondering if this is a tri-phasic pattern? Fertility friend laughed in my face when I entered it this morning - and gave me a hollow circle on my chart to show it didn't believe me:( - any thoughts?

I promise I am not symptom spotting yet! :)

youremindmeofthebabe · 17/08/2010 08:44

Hello All!

Joining you on the 2ww now Digi et al. However, I suspect that i haven't even ovulated this month, as th EWCM has been non-existant. I've still been SWI though, so got my bases covered. So, fx for me then.

Hello izzy, love the name!

wiggle hope it all goes well today, here's a Smile for you.

Hope that second day goes well Moof. I know i'm going to be a snivelling wreck next September when DS goes to big school!

Big waves at all. I am feeling some shame from a girly night out on Sunday that got messy, it wasn't meant to be.Confused Here's to an uneventful and calm 2ww.

randomimposter · 17/08/2010 09:01

morning all
you're all blimmin GORRRRGGGGGGGGGEOUS
thanks for your msgs
x

hairytriangle · 17/08/2010 09:17

Battery I haven't a clue, but just wanted to acknowledge and a tentative 'ooooh!'

I'm off to the hospital (armed with the NICE guidelines which state I should be offered a hcg and a laparoscopy) to have an inital consultation about my blocked tube.

Digi 4 dpo for me too - I'm eyeing up that haddock already!

VivClicquot · 17/08/2010 09:36

battery - I also had a hollow circle on FF this morning when I had a bit of a jump in temp. Bastard. Wink Yours sounds quite intriguing though.... :)

Also, bought myself a coffee before getting on the train to Leeds and it tasted foul.

I'm 6dpo FFS.

ps morning all! x

jolls - hope today goes okay darlin' x

owlshoes · 17/08/2010 10:20

:( Jolls bloody rotten news, you poor thing - so sorry you've had to go through this again & hope you are okay.

Izzy and Choccy welcome to the thread - people here are very supportive & friendly.
Choccy I also had natural MC at 7 wks and the hospital doc told me it was best to wait 1 cycle - but that was mainly for dating and to just go for it when we felt ready.

Viv I believe this skipjack tuna is for you?

hairy good luck at the hospital; if they mess you around, bash them with the NICE guidelines!

Morning everyone :)

DachshundsRule · 17/08/2010 11:26

hairy good luck

hi to all, sorry for not doing massive namechecks today.

i need the haddock. it's only 2dpo and I'm already symptom spotting, even though I don't really have any! Emergency haddock slap required!
