The May Bus

I'm feeling positive about this next cycle. Due rtd tomorrow.

If it's as long as the one I'm just finishing I'll be due sometime in early May so thought I'd do the honours and polish down the bus, stack it full of champagne and nibbles and start the engine!

Who's with me?

A note for the tests says on the packet - 6 days before is 68% accurate

Not that good an odds I recon so hold on in there if you can x

goldmaple · 01/09/2010 21:57

Congrats Kiwi!!

Junebugjr we are cycle buddies! I'm jealous you have symptoms to spot...:) I have nothing. except I did have a twinge in my side this morning... hmmm... hurry up symptoms!

Good luck to all those POAS soon!

lateatwork · 01/09/2010 21:59

sorry to see so many go... but am sure i will see you all on the June bus shortly...

currently looking into 'assisted conception' which will embark on over the coming months if things dont get a wriggle on... argh.

CharlottesClan · 01/09/2010 22:07

congrats to all the BFPs! :o

im jumping off guys.
af got me this afternoon. very odd as i never EVER come on in the afternoon, always first thing. but then this has been a very odd cycle Confused 40 day cycle!

am going to temp now, didnt this morning obviously as didnt know it was CD1!

so see you on the june bus :)

JuneBugJr · 02/09/2010 20:10

goldmaple Symptom spotting so far, twinges in left side the same as you. Feeling dizzy, feeling hot, burning lips (facial Grin, basically anything at all. Realistically, I know any symptoms are unlikely, but it doesnt stop me!

I did start feeling sick just before my positive test with DD, but hope that symptom passes me by this time around.

I dont think 2 weeks have ever gone so slow, boo hoo.

gingerwench · 02/09/2010 21:31

very very slight nausea first thing this morning until I ate something. Slight breast tingling. Symptoms? only a week to go before i find out. Might be a long week.

JuneBugJr · 02/09/2010 21:52

Definate symptoms gingerwench - sicky feeling, tingling boobs

Infact you've just reminded me. The very first symptom I had when pregnant with DD was tingling nipples (TMI alert). There had better be tingling nipples in a few days, or Im not going to be a happy bunny.

cowboylover · 02/09/2010 22:17

I hope that is good news for you;
For me last month it was wearing the wrong size bra Blush

goldmaple · 03/09/2010 01:17

those symptoms sound promising gingerwench!
my nose has been unusually stuffy for a few days... that is surely a sign, right? :o
junebugjr if we both get the twinges then I think that makes its a real symptom!! yay:)
only 6 10 days until POAS!

broughthimroundtotheidea · 03/09/2010 06:07

Welcome to cowboylover, hope this is a lucky bus for you.

I am very, very nervous now I am approaching the front seat of the bus. It's been such a long wait this month and I have been such a good girl SWI for about 2 weeks non-stop! I am also feeling very tearful, shouty, can smell lots of horrid smells wherever I go and want to lie down most of the time. This is not so much symptom-spotting as just knowing something is going to happen soon, because quite frankly I think all of the above just mean I am really, really f%%$ing hormonal Confused.

I notice there are a few folk on the seats just behind me who should have tested by now... any news?

OverThePond · 03/09/2010 17:38

Tempted fate by making an appointment for a bikini wax the day AF should arrive. This forces allows me to POAS a day early so I can cancel if it's a -ive. My symptom spotting has begun, which is just a sign that I need to distract myself get to work on my dissertation and stop obsessively checking my wonky nipple (which I've decided will be like a turkey thermometer that pops when the bird is done). I'm even mentally resigning myself to having a child who could share a birthday with my step-mother, SIL and granny (none of whom top my favorite people list)--though will have 9 months to read up on how to bounce it out early or cross legs to keep it in a few hours.

8rubberduckies sounds promising, though I imagine your long cycles will make it more nerve-wracking than I could possibly handle. Good luck.

MrsP81 · 03/09/2010 21:49

Hello all

I did a test this morning - BFN. I only did it as I got some freebie tests when I bought a thermometer ready to start temping next cycle so I wasn't really expecting any exciting news.

I'm getting a bit of a headache tonight, think this may be the dreaded pre AF headache. :(

sillybillymummy · 03/09/2010 23:25

8rubberduckies really hope THIS is your month :)

Oh 4 more days , 4 more days
doesn't feel like i am pregnant...

The only thing i can say is, i am really tired, and really impatient with my 3 year old the last few days... and need to wee all the time - but know this is proabably nothing to do with being pregnant!

8rubberduckies · 04/09/2010 08:12

3 more days now sillybilly!

I'm not one of those people who "just knows" they're pregnant; I didn't know I was pregnant with ds til I was 7 weeks, so pretty sure symptom spotting is a waste of time and energy for me, but it's good sport I suppose! Grin

Rockbird · 04/09/2010 11:10

Well I'm out, AF arrived early for once.

Congrats to all the BFPs! Good luck to those still to test, hope it's a lucky bus for you :)

mamaof1wantno2now · 04/09/2010 12:25

well i'm out 2 af got me 2day.

congrats 2 al the BFPS, good luck fingers & everything crossed for those still 2 test,Grin

fledtoscotland · 04/09/2010 13:38

Just got back from holudays. AF joined us :( so am off to catch the June bus.

Congratulations to all the BFPs

gingerwench · 04/09/2010 15:46

Well ladies....a BFP here! Wasn't going to test for a few days yet but thought I'd give it a go with a clearblue digital.

Happy but well aware that it is early days so trying not to get too excited just yet

Best of luck for everyone else.

ljg72 · 04/09/2010 16:16

Yay Ginger!!!! Congrats!!! Smile x

rosieroseanna · 04/09/2010 19:40

AF arrived today so I'm off to the June bus!

cowboylover · 04/09/2010 19:48

Fingers crossed for you Ginger!

I am due on Monday but not feeling like I am yet as usually feel like total crap but then dont feel different either.

Now the question is when to test?
I have a 1st responce burning a hole in my bedside table at the moment so might do it in the morning so I can get on with my week x

Lobyd · 04/09/2010 20:05

Hello to you all - I havent been MIA exactly, I was taking my mind off the 2WW with a spot of holidaying...

Astoundingly, I'm back with a BFP! (on 23rd for those counting.) I had a real suspicion all the way through though as I had some weird kind of evening sickness, then some implantation bleeding on the Saturday. Did a clear blue thing on the Monday and it said "1-2 enceinte" which apparently means 1-2 weeks pregnant!

Congrats to the grads and commiserations to all those still on the bus x

sillybillymummy · 05/09/2010 00:52

Back from a party late, only to fin that my last post, didn't make it on here - my computer reeally playing up
anyway - 8rubberduckies 2 more days! We can do it!

trixie123 · 05/09/2010 07:06

hi everyone. Congrats to all BFPs. Looks like its really crowded on here but if I bring more ice cream can I squeeze on? Am rubbish at stats too but if anyone can work it out for me that would be great. First day of last period was July 22nd but the 3-4 cycles I had while TTC were 6-7 weeks. Had BFN last week and two fainter but definitely there + last night and this morning. (DC2 by the way). No symptoms but didn't have last time either. SillyBilly don't worry if you don't have symptoms. I drove DP mad taking lots of tests for weeks cos I really had NO symptoms at all and got my dates so wrong that my 12 week scan turned out to be 16 week scan Grin
