The May Bus

I'm feeling positive about this next cycle. Due rtd tomorrow.

If it's as long as the one I'm just finishing I'll be due sometime in early May so thought I'd do the honours and polish down the bus, stack it full of champagne and nibbles and start the engine!

As for me, The Red Death arrived this morning so almost as soon as I hopped on the bus I have to hop off again.

To say I'm disappointed is an understatement as I was really hoping I'd have a honeymoon baby (I got married earlier this month). Still, as hubby says, there's lots of fun to be had in trying again next month!

I'm going to post this out loud cos it's bound to tempt fate but the very very light spotting the other night didn't eventuate into any thing (shhh it was less spotting and me... ahh... shall we say investigating) so I'm at CD31 but I've had 32 day cycles before, avg is 29 days. All I can say is AF is a right b!tch stringing a TTCer along like this LOL so I'll hang out here just a little longer if that's ok with rest of the lovely May passengers :)

I'm jumping off too - no AF yet but I did a test to save my sanity this morning and it was a BFN as I knew it would be.

Not sure if I am going to catch the June bus, am a bit depressed tbh.

Whoo hoo!! Congrats on all the BFPs while I've been away! The grads list is growing that's fantastic!!

I'm now back from my hols. Very glad to say AF has held off and I've had several more BFPs since I posted about my TWP on 18(?) August. I've got an appointment with my GP tomorrow and I'm due to get my chromosme results in about 2 weeks (they've managed to speed them up as they were going to take 3 months!!). Then I'm due to have an early dating scan (so they can work out when to do CVS if they can identify my chromosomal issue) in a couple of week's time. Eek - exciting but very scary! Read in my pregnancy book last night that bean will already have its own blood and heart beating. Amazing.

Owlshoes oh no, hope you are ok. You were my cycle buddy for 2 buses, hope you come back at some stage, even as a lurker and announce your BFP to the June bus!

BFP this morning and

It took a while to come up with the + sign so a bit tentative right now, will test again in a couple of days but it did give a positive result in around 8mins, definately within the 10 mins. And the control line came up at the same time. I'm at CD 33 of average 29 longest 32.

And I'd just like to say those Poundshop tests are a pile of poop, so useless, I reckon you'd have to be 12weeks along to get a positive result! (did one yesterday morning then went out and brought a Clearblue, not digital but half price at Superdrug FYI)

DH has already cautioned me to not tell anyone just in case but YAY for forumming where nobody knows you IRL!!!

My gosh that was a mammoth task! Hope all are well today... as FF is not playing ball this month and refusing to acknowledge I OVd last week cos I missed three day's temping in a row, I am setting my own OV date as last Friday, and as I tend to have a 10 day long luteal phase I intend to POAS next Tuesday. The waiting begins.......!

So obviously at only 4wks I have no symptoms so doesnt feel really real IYKWIM, tho have been a bit snuffly (head cold ish) the past few days, had what I thought was wicked AF pains on Friday night while talking to DH and making dinner - doubled me over - wonder if that was implantaion?? Was that night that I went.. ahhh.. exploring and found smidge of red so thought that was AF on the way. Nips have been standing to attention waaay more than normal and boobs sore like due for AF but not freaky sore. Oh and a bit constipated!!!

Oh dear that is waaay TMI but goes to show symptoms are seriously random!!!

Mumsnet says due date 6 May, so that means I'll be about 6mths along on the flight back from NZ in Feb.

Hmmmm this would be me getting ahead of myself , need to slow down and just get through the next 12 weeks

I flew to NZ and back pregnant, it made a very long journey even longer, as most of it was spent in the queue for the loo!

So chuffed for you kiwi, I am starting to implode with excitement that I might, just might, be pg this month. Hopefully see you in the due May thread soon!

I was so good today, i had to go to boots, and happened to see the first respeonse tests that say '6 days before period is due' but i was very restrained and didn't buy - must stop wasting all this money on tests! So i am going to wait until next tues also 8rubberduckies - i think we have been here before - 2WW waiting buddies! again. This will be my CB28 and also my sons first day back at preschool, so atleast if its -ve i can come home and have a sulky cuddle with my DD.

Am now on the 2WW and even if I was pregnant it would only be a few cells, but Im still driving myself bonkers symptom spotting. If thats not mental I dont know what is.

And now I come on here, and see that they have pregnancy tests for 6 days before period is due
