The May Bus

I'm feeling positive about this next cycle. Due rtd tomorrow.

If it's as long as the one I'm just finishing I'll be due sometime in early May so thought I'd do the honours and polish down the bus, stack it full of champagne and nibbles and start the engine!

Who's with me?

May is a great month for birthdays, I highly recommend it!

Anyway just popping in to say hello, I've got a few more stops on the April bus yet, af due Friday but can just squeeze another cycle in for an April due date

Maybe see you soon

Ohhh....can I join, I have seen the buses zoom by on the thread but so far have been unable to join as no period since chucking my pill away in March. Recent polycystic ovary diagnosis and off to be jump started on clomid on 3rd August - so if that were to be successful first off, sprog would be May - just like it's Ma and Pa

Vallinnapod TTC#1 Cycle 1, UCL unknown, CD113 (no, not a typo!)

digitalgirl · 20/07/2010 15:00

vp good news you're getting treated for pcos. I'm having some blood tests this week to diagnose for pcos, at my last scan my ovaries looked polycystic and cycles tend to be over 5 weeks long. But cd113....that's long! I guess you're counting in months now.

Spotting has started, hoping rtd starts properly today.

OP posts:
vallinnapod · 20/07/2010 15:19

Hope it goes well dg. Every bar my scan (and no periods!) was normal. Scary to think the pill had masked it for 11 years! Not really looking forward to bombarding myself with more chemicals to sort out what the ones in the first place did but all in a good cause!

waterloo51 · 20/07/2010 21:15

Hi Ladies, I would love to join the may bus. Im new and havent found myself a home yet so this could be it.

Passengers Welcome welcome!

Tuesday's list
Vallinnapod TTC#1 Cycle 1, UCL unknown, CD113 (no, not a typo!)
Digitalgirl TTC#2 Cycle2 (post 2nd mc) UCL42 CD1

waterloo & nicola Feel free to add your stats to the list when you're ready.

UCL is Usual Cycle Length and CD is cycle day (CD1 is first day of your period)

waterloo I'm also coming up to ttc for 12 months, although it's for my second child. I've had 2 miscarriages during this time so it's been a bit of a rollercoaster year. Are you doing ovulation tests because your cycles are irregular or because you don't think you've been timing it right over the last 12 months?

AmandaCooper · 21/07/2010 12:46

AF arrived as expected so can i please hop on now

TTC #2 Cycle 3, UCL 29, CD1

tigersmummy · 23/07/2010 11:07

Hi everyone, can I join your thread?
AF arrived this morning - took pg test yesterday and got BFN - kinda knew I wouldn't be pg but we always live in hope eh?

Not sure why I'm so upset today - have been in tears all morning - took 5 months to conceive DS which isn't a long time I know and decided TTC DC2 in February - tried every month bar March (didn't want a Xmas baby, would have taken it now of course) and friend has just said she's pg with second.

DS is very challenging and is on the go all the time - sometimes I don't think I'm a great mother to him as sometimes can't control him, he won't respond to me (but will to DH - grrrr!!!) so maybe its not a bad thing I'm not pg yet.

Used OV kits first time round and caught immediately we started using - this time not been so successful.

Am I being petty by thinking it just isn't fair that other people seem to catch as easy as they do a cold?!!!!

sloathy · 23/07/2010 11:12

I would love to hop on as this month's cycle was even more depressing than the last.

Had MC in June at 5+3 (cycle 2)

Then this cycle I had really obvious nausea and other symptoms from about CD20 onwards so was very hopeful and then got AF on Tuesday so still not sure what was going on there.

So onwards and upwards.....

Sloathy, TTC#1, cycle 4, CD4, UCL 32ish.

tigersmummy · 23/07/2010 11:15

sloathy, sorry to hear about MC - I had nausea and extreme tiredness this time and convinced myself that I HAD to be pg, albeit wishful thinking....

Its a slog sometimes isn't it

JustShaggingForNow · 23/07/2010 11:24

AC - also having a nosey and dreaming...... at this rate I'll not be stepping onto a buss until March and I sincerely hope that I don't meet any of you on it (in a nice way of course!!! )

vallinnapod · 23/07/2010 11:29

sloathy sorry to hear about the MC
tigersmummy I hear you. I came off the pill umming and ahhing about whether it was the right time the have a baby. Heard about this (bollocksy!) super fertile month when you first come off the pill so got to about 5 days late and tested. BFN. 5 months and a PCOS diagnosis later and here I am tapping my feet impatiently, waiting for my consultant to come back from her holiday so I can get started on Clomid...and this is just to get me to ovulate...this could be my first bus of many

In the meantime every Tom, Dick and Harry is pregnant (wouldn't that be a miracle )

sloathy · 23/07/2010 11:46

Weirdly the AF that arrived on Tuesday has now virtually stopped. If only we could talk to our wombs and ask them what the hell is going on!

cherrytomatobomb · 23/07/2010 12:08

Hi, Can i join please???

cherrytomatobomb TTC#1 Cycle 19, UCL 27, CD15

I've had a few months away as I was really stressed and after 6 months using CBFM and still no baby, my sanity was disappearing fast.

However, I'm back, feeling positive, with an appt to see fertility consultant in 2 months time. (Brief history - Day 21 bloods show I'm ovulating, DP has 2 children from previous relationship, no SA analysis as GP said no point, I had HSG done 10 years ago which was clear).

Please please please let this be the month we make our baby

Good luck to everyone, lets have lots of May babies

crazydayz · 23/07/2010 13:14

Hi all, Can I join you please???

I'm very new to this:

crazydayz TTC#1 Cycle 1 UCL no idea as been on the pill for last 10 years CD 7?

Hubby and I have only just decided to ditch the contraception tentatively so I'm sure I'll be joining you on many more buses.

I come bearing wine and chocolate buttons

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 23/07/2010 13:42

May I hop on this bus? And if I do do I have to post my stats, as to be honest I haven't a clue and kinda want to keep it that way (it's less scarey).

Just started TTC on Tuesday and ov'd on Weds (hows that for timing!), am positive won't go first time though (as with DS) so thinking a leisurely bus ride might help fill the time.

Know what you mean about everyone else seemingly 'catching' pregnancy. When pregnant with ds no one was pregnant, had quite a lonely maternity leave - now it seems I've been left off the memo for the mass ml jolly that all my friends seemed to have planned!

Sorry to hear some of you have been trying a while and have also suffered mc's. As isolating as it feels, you are not alone. My next AF is due the same time I got it last year when we first started ttc#2. How's about that for an anniversary
