The Homelink website suggest exchanging honest info with people you want to exchange with, looking for people with similar size/quality houses to yourself (or trading 'features'), exchanging more detailed info, agreeing in advance what to do about utility payments (I guess only really necessary for longer swaps). Yes provided you don't mind cramped accommodation we have a "bedroom" in the loft as our 4th but it's not a proper room in terms of building regs our eldest (11) has it as her room. We may not have 5 single beds by then unless but have an airbed?

Ours would def be more of a cheap place to bunk down rather than enjoying the house and the immediate local environment!

i live near York in a big barn with a big garden if anybodys interested its family friendly and also about 1hr 10 mins from the east coast

North West Ireland here. Two bed house, garden, near beaches, nice town, good base for touring.

CarGirl, would just need a base really for all the London attractions so don't think would be a problem. My problem however, like most of us on here, is dh, not sure he is keen but will work on him iyswim!

So, for you and possibly ButterflyMcQueen, we are in East Dorset by the sea. 7 beds on three floors (there are loads of us!), no baby stuff, cots, stairgates whatsoever, youngest is 9. Very quiet town, car is a must.

wilf believe me, we are not neat freaks, so that wouldn't be a problem!

We were planning a few days away when we didn't have the DCs, but DP hasn't had his new role confirmed yet so we can't really afford it. No CATs yet so if you are interested just shout.

Anyone interested in a place called Zug, an hour from Zurich next June / July... ? Am looking potentially for somewhere to swap in London as my DH will be working there next year for a month or so and my dad's flat in West London is too small for us and our two young children.
We live in a ground floor flat with garden, have three bedrooms, have two cots, travel cot, bunks and beds ... and live near a lake, mountains, and fresh air...! :-)
