i stayed in the halls of residence at the london school of economics before...with mates about 12 years ago...it was fun actually!

but dont know if it would be fun with 2 small children

plus dh wouldnt do the communal bathroom

We have stayed here twice (house in top pic). Fantastic location, only slight problem it is up a big hill. We also stayed there with my pil. There are 2 decent sized bedrooms and a sofa bed in the lounge which dh & I slept on. The bedrooms had 2 double beds but we took ds's ready bed and he slept in that and dd slept in the bed.

Greenwich is fab NP. There is a big park for the children to play. They have boats in the summer months. The National Maritime Museum is there. It's not far to the DLR. Cutty Sark. The Royal Naval College.

You can take a boat trip on the Thames passing down to Westminster.

Plenty of restaurants/take aways/small cafe in the park. If you take your mum you and dh can have a fun night out.

There is Pizza Express, McDonalds (!), a M & S simply food etc.

If you look on my link, the bloke that owns the property has put loads of information about Greenwich on there. Also if you do decide to book through him, if you tell him your my mate he should give you 10% discount.
