@maudisgonne welcome. It must be very frustrating having to wait and see about all these new variants.

@PhilCornwall1 I hope you managed to drift back off.

I'm exhausted after yesterday.

Akire · 30/11/2021 06:37

Up early with really sore throat get quite often inhalers. Hoping will get back sleep or will be long day and have dentist this aft and I shall be dead by then.

Hi @maudisgonne welcome aboard I often say the tip of my
Noses isn’t hurting that’s about it!

No drifting back off for me sadly. It's going to be a long day at work. Task one of the day is to give some people a "professional bollocking", as they are acting like children and making my life harder than it needs to be.

Will feel a bit better after that.

Oh god I have to do the professional bollocking thing tomorrow too. Have my admin a really important task to do before her holiday and found out yesterday she hadn't done it and ended up working until late night to complete it! Very unimpressed (and tired) right now.
Akire · 30/11/2021 16:29

How is everyone doing? I managed get back sleep but still felt rubbish all day. But survived the dentist and treatment can wait till after Xmas so that’s a result.

How did all the work telling offs go?

I'm in a lot of pain today. But in a brighter note I have our hit chocolate station set up. I've just made one with whipped cream, crushed aero, gold sprinkles, a snowman marshmallow and stroopwaffles on the side.

Akire · 30/11/2021 19:13

That sounds amazing is it a spoon job to eat? I so should got some
Baileys today (maybe tomorrow!)

My body’s doing the imaginary sledge hammer thing so hard against my ankle I would not be surprised if one appeared out of mid air.

The diabetic in the corner is feeling rather jealous right now 😂😂

HerRoyalHappiness · 30/11/2021 19:38

Definitely needed a spoon! Sorry @SpookyScarySkeletons Grin

SpookyScarySkeletons · 30/11/2021 20:39

Everything ok @HerRoyalHappiness? Just stumbled across your other thread and am worrying now x

HerRoyalHappiness · 30/11/2021 20:48

Yeah it will be. I'm just sick and tired of being harassed now! And now there's a bunch of victim blamers too so that's fun. I was just venting my frustration. Ive done everything the police have told me to and nothing is being done to help.

SpookyScarySkeletons · 30/11/2021 20:50

Ignore them. I started to read the comments but they made me rather angry!!

Is there anything else you can do with police etc? Sorry I'm not much use as I've never been in that situation before but there may be one of us "non-judgemental" lot who could help? Xx

HerRoyalHappiness · 30/11/2021 20:53

Unfortunately it's just log every incident. So that's what I'm doing. I just have to hope he doesn't escalate any. Hopefully he won't as as far as I know he doesn't have my address.

bicyclesaredeathtraps · 30/11/2021 21:45

@Akire

Is that your stomach issues again? Sorry about your plans it’s horrible when can’t plan things. I’m looking forward to it warming up but least not like poor people up in the north on 4 days without power!
Yep, I was foolish enough to accept sweets from a colleague on a day I really should have stuck to plain toast and crackers. But today was much better, I actually ate some real food and kept it down! Been snuggled in bed most of the day staying warm so nerve pain is more bearable too.
bicyclesaredeathtraps · 30/11/2021 21:46

Haven't seen your other thread @HerRoyalHappiness but sounds rough, hope it gets sorted

bicyclesaredeathtraps · 30/11/2021 21:47

@HerRoyalHappiness

Definitely needed a spoon! Sorry *@SpookyScarySkeletons* Grin
also sorry for the triple post but I've spent too much time talking with chronically ill people because I automatically interpreted that as the metaphorical kind of spoon and was about to offer you one Grin
sweetkitty · 30/11/2021 21:49

Good evening everyone not feeling too bad tonight, just very tired. I fell asleep on the couch earlier I can’t stop having a nap after work. Feel so tired and sick and this is despite all the vitamins. Tonight is the first night with my mouthguard too.

HerRoyalHappiness · 30/11/2021 21:54

@bicyclesaredeathtraps Grin I could always do with extra spoons!
@sweetkitty it's tiring having to work when you're I'm so much pain, no wonder you need a nap!

nailsathome · 30/11/2021 22:48

Ahhh managed to find the new thread. I had a gynae surgery on Friday and it's really knocked my back. Mil keeps asking if I'm mobile yet - I wasn't mobile beforehand!! She thinks I'm going to get better after a bit of exercise to build up my stamina.

Hope you're all ok and not feeling any festive stress yet

maudisgonne · 01/12/2021 01:58

I wrote a long post saying thanks for the lovely welcome among other things.
Seems to have disappeared.
Will try again tomorrow.

Akire · 01/12/2021 09:41

@HerRoyalHappiness didn’t see thread but sounds v stressful as if you don’t have enough on your plate.

Had rubbish night sleep last two nights with increasingly sore throat so just ordered covid test. I normally have quite low level sore throat on off always but it feels quite sore today. Apparently can be covid sign, asthma was quite wheezy yesterday but no cough or temp. When you feel rubbish all time
Your “am I feeling sick” radar not particular helpful.

I think may have old PCR hanging around but if can’t find it says takes 1-2 days to arrive!

OP posts:
HerRoyalHappiness · 01/12/2021 09:51

@Akire I hope its not covid!

HerRoyalHappiness · 01/12/2021 10:01

I have my care coordinator out today. Not seen her for a couple of weeks as she had annual leave.
I get to tell her all about my latest hallucinations so that should be fun HmmGrin
Hopefully she can give me some strategies to help me sleep as I think it's lack of sleep causing the latest ones. I'm so exhausted.
Due to everything going on right now I'm not sleeping, I'm paranoid, and then when I do sleep I wake up in pain or panicking that someone has broken in.

Akire · 01/12/2021 10:22

I did LTF before dentist was fine yesterday but just done one and faint line in second marker. I know can be false negatives so have wait. Looking for old PCR as we had mass testing spring but be sods law wouldn’t be able find today. I had hair done last week everyone had mask pretty empty apart from that not been anywhere. But it’s is 5m and 3 weeks since second dose so worse time get.

Hope meeting goes well least they seem to be regular touch which is something! Good luck Brew

OP posts:
SpookyScarySkeletons · 01/12/2021 11:01

Definitely get a PCR down @Akire I started with a sore throat when I had it. Littlest DD had 3 very faint positives on LFT but was positive on PCR.
