New shiny thread to get us through December & Xmas and possible New Year!

This thread is for anyone who has days , weeks, months at time when get chronic pain flair or lives in pain constantly. There are so many conditions that have pain and often limited understand of how it feels to be living with it. Everyone is very welcome

Sat in the doctors waiting to speak to GO about a whole range of things my acid reflux, my smelly urine and BO (they've changed smell and smell stronger and I need it checking)

I've had to take a nytol to get some sleep. Then I hope I can get on with some coursework (I'm a HR student) 🤞🏻🙂

I finally saw consultant over my pelvic pain and bleeding totally dismissed bleeding, no mention possible be endo. Diagnoses me skin condition which can attack nerves in pelvis but I can’t find a single google page or medical Journal saying it does this. Didn’t give me any pain relief. If it’s nerve pain it’s totally different etc etc

Did have scan after which think was often thought and did show polyp so that’s something. After all no no bleeding isn’t an issue (it is for me it’s been two years!) I have other conditions but this is one giving most pain right now. Need go back GP for pain but like most of us dreading the trying book appointment hurdle and trying get them give me Something. If the consultant didn’t offer me anything after being v clear about pain levels why would GP who probable never heard of condition either. It’s bloody endless

I've got a severe urine infection which is causing me to sweat more and giving my urine a funny smell. Probably why I've been in so much pain with my back too.
As for the acid reflux just keep taking antacids and mention it to rheumy on the 22nd.

Least that be one less thing hurt once meds kick in

I dont get regular UTI symptoms though, so no burning sensation or anything. It's really strange

Even the weight of the duvet on my knees hurt last night.
Does it get any better?
Symptoms keep popping up, fading, appearing in new places.
Why do I feel sort of ashamed?
I can't point to anything objective like a broken leg or decapitation, and I don't want to explain but I can't walk

Properly so it's obvious I'm not right
I feel confused
