Is it sad that one of the things I'm looking forward to the most tomorrow (apart from watching the little cherubs open their presents) is Doctor Who??!!!

Only thing that I REAALLLY want to see this Xmas!

ImSoNotTelling · 24/12/2009 13:56

No is perfectly normal.

Sandy22 · 24/12/2009 14:01

I'm so mad as we are at BILs for dinner tomorrow and what time is he starting - 4pm!!!!!! I wanted to be back in time to chill, get settled on the couch, nibbles & wine at the ready to watch Dr Who at 6pm

WidowWadman · 24/12/2009 14:13

Nope, it's part of Christmas. I'm also very excited about the Gruffalo. Which I guess is a bit sadder

purpleturtle · 24/12/2009 14:17

I'm looking forward to it too, but I think we'll have to record it and watch it after the children have gone to bed. They get a bit scared.

The Gruffalo, on the other hand, will be compulsory viewing for the whole family.

Amapoleon · 24/12/2009 14:21

Heehee me too, Dr Who and The Gruffalo!

borderslass · 24/12/2009 16:15

what time's it on can't miss doctor who best part of the day.

Ripeberry · 24/12/2009 16:20

David Tennant squeeeeeeeeee! Starts tonight at 10pm with QI and then Doctor Who tomorrow and then Boxing day at 5.05pm with Hamlet and then the REALLY sad bit on New Year's day when we will all need our hankies
I'm also loving the Doctor, Tardis and reindeers in the snow!
Squeeeeeeeeeee!

littlelozz · 24/12/2009 16:23

Im just gutted I wont see it till at least 10pm - MIL + PIL are not DW fans
Knowing my luck though it will be on in back ground and I'll have to go into another room so I dont see any of it.

I dont know how Ill get through it without crying though! x

TipsyFairydifferentID · 24/12/2009 16:25

it's already on record!

biggirlsdontcry · 24/12/2009 16:41

we are racing home from my mums to see it

AccioPinotGrigio · 24/12/2009 17:37

Apart from watching ds open his pressies it is the only bit of Christmas day I am looking forward to. DH can't wait either, but only because I will have to stop drooling over David Tennant [weeps- flicks to BBC3 to watch a blank screen until the DrWho repeat comes on at 7pm]

ShannaraTiger · 24/12/2009 20:38

Not sad at all same here, even our 3 year old loves Doctor Who, although not sure he will understand the change in doctor.

brightspark2 · 25/12/2009 16:37

Made my 12yo buy me Casanova from Amazon so I can still get my fix! Reserving judgment on the new one but tough act to follow.

nymphadora · 25/12/2009 18:01

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

nymphadora · 25/12/2009 18:58

OMG OMG OMG

legspinner · 25/12/2009 20:03

I am so jealous of all of you....I am a huge Dr Who fan, as is DH, but we live overseas and Dr Who is not on today. As we can't download it from the BBC website (cos we're overseas) will have to wait till it's screened here. Waters of Mars was 3 weeks afterwards...hope we don't have to wait too long....

chegirlwithbellson · 25/12/2009 20:21

Shimmer!

nymphadora · 25/12/2009 20:32

Its on dvd in Jan if you can get region 2

lowenergylightbulb · 25/12/2009 20:50

I am in love with the evil blonde master.

Kaloki · 25/12/2009 22:18

I've got mixed feelings on this, it got interesting right at the end after far too many dodgy bits of writing. But then Russell T Davies' writing has got steadily more awful with each episode. Looking forward to the next series though.

Maleeka · 25/12/2009 22:39

I've been a very happy lady with the amount of shows that David Tennant has been on over xmas

I even watched cbeebies bedtime story cos he was reading it . I can get my fix every day next year tho thanks to my OH getting me his calendar, and i have casanova on v+ which he is gonna put on dvd for me.

Good job he is so understanding about my DT addiction tho, i'm not sure how many blokes would put up with a lifesize cardboard cut out of DT beside my bed . Well i couldnt let toys r us chuck it in the compactor could i?
