LizzyLordsALeaping · 16/12/2009 21:44

No, I take laxatives up to the big day to clear the system, then take them again after boxing day.

All bran is good if you have problems in that area

CybilServant · 16/12/2009 21:44

No but I will be picking my nose and eating it

LilySwalLoosHerTurkeyBaster · 16/12/2009 21:44

yes at four hourly intervals.

bil was once stuck in our loo for hours on christmas day with constipation.

LilySwalLoosHerTurkeyBaster · 16/12/2009 21:49

Lol actually remember when our loo broke at our new years eve party
Had a few extra gifts that night!!

dearprudence · 16/12/2009 21:52

...

squeaver · 16/12/2009 21:52

Am LOVING that people are actually seriously answering the question.

SixtyFootDoll · 16/12/2009 21:52

No time to stop for a poo in my house!

McDreamyingofawhiteXmas · 16/12/2009 21:55

Goodness no this is an event we like to save for Boxing Day about mid morning, as a family

TheCrackFox · 16/12/2009 21:57

I like to evacuate my bowels when the Queen's Speech is on.

MrsMattie · 16/12/2009 21:57

Yes. I put on my special Christmas PJs, pour myself a glass of bubbly and go for a nice Christmas morning shit. It's tradition in our house.

morningpaper · 16/12/2009 21:58

I do it just after I've put the sprouts on a low simmer, and by the time I'm done, the sprouts are ready to drain

Tizzyjacko · 16/12/2009 21:58

Well I am planning to include it in the schedule after I have decided whatt to wear

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 16/12/2009 21:58

Usually I like a crap in the morning, but on christmas day I think it's rather special to save it till later. Don't you think? I hear it's what they used to do in the olden days and tradition is very important here.

CybilServant · 16/12/2009 21:58

lol morning

CybilServant · 16/12/2009 21:59

It sounds like a euphamism

"I'd give it a couple of minutes in the upstairs lavvey dear heart...I've just drained the sprouts"

MarthaFarquhar · 16/12/2009 22:00

no.

I ingest copious amounts of glitter on 23rd December, and then do a Christmas Eve sparkly poo.

When DD gets up on Xmas morning - voila - magic reindeer poo.

LastTrainToLapland · 16/12/2009 22:01

Yesterday in Marks & Sparks, I saw festive toilet paper. Yes, that's festive toilet paper embossed with pretty hollies and happy penguins. And it cost significantly more than the bog-standard loo roll (see what I did there? ). So I guess someone must be shitting on Christmas day

MrsMattie · 16/12/2009 22:02

pmsl@Martha!

WilfSell · 16/12/2009 22:02

ahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Yes. Copiously and biliously. I like to tinkle Reindeer Bells and burn orange peel while I do. The family gathers round and sighs happily.

bibbitybobbitysantahat · 16/12/2009 22:02

Who is seriously answering the question squeaver?

I am going to seriously answer the question:

I expect so.

I expect it will be in the morning.

Maybe again some time in the evening.

I may even go in our outside loo, for we have one, and I bet that is something very few Mumsnetters can claim .

Hth xx
