Mr Frosty here too, and that sweet shop thing with real sweets.

I also asked for a clarinet so I could have lessons at school, but I didn't get that either.

I desperately wanted a Sindy doll never did get one, but my Grandma bought me a Monique doll which twisted at the waist and had bendy legs. Loved that doll, but she wasn't Sindy...

barbie1 · 30/11/2009 14:15

cabbage patch doll, my parents refused because they said they were ugly

I did get one for my 26th birthday though

TBMOM · 30/11/2009 14:16

Second a sweet shop that dishes out sweets and a real dolls house with proper wooden furniture, wall paper on the walls and real carpet on the floor.

em83 · 30/11/2009 14:20

bought my ds a sweet shop a couple of years ago and i we had hours of fun weighing out the sweets and putting them into bags

mum2boys3girls · 30/11/2009 14:29

Mine was a Girls World ! every year it was on my list , I still remind my mum especially when she bought DD1 a barbie one

Fimbo · 30/11/2009 14:31

In agreement with some of you here.

Cabbage Patch Doll - not allowed as ugly

Doll's pram - had my cousin's old one so wasn't allowed a new one.

A satchel for school - don't know the reason why I never got this.

Clackers (those hard balls on strings) - too dangerous.

BertieBotts · 30/11/2009 14:37

I wanted a play kitchen.

Saltire · 30/11/2009 14:41

A horse for my Sindy (I never liked barbie)
The toy sweet shop with real sweets.

I did get a Tiny Tears though and I loved that doll. In fact I still have her, I kept her in case I had girls, ah well, maybe I'll get Grandaughters

OliviaMumsnet · 30/11/2009 14:46

Another vote for Mr Frosty
I mentioned this to my SIL and she v sweetly gave me one of those grown up icecrushers for making margaritas. Not the same [ungrateful]

mmmmmchocolate · 30/11/2009 14:57

I wanted an ala carte kitchen so much. I was never allowed one my mother turned around a few months ago and said I suppose I'm going to have to get DD one for Xmas? Erm why when you couldn't but your own child one? Grrrrrrr

MaggieBelle · 30/11/2009 15:02

a soda stream, not a toy I know, but I asked for one every birthday and christmas for about four years.

I also asked for a monchichi and was told I was too old. (10)

girlywhirly · 30/11/2009 15:06

LetThereBeRock · 30/11/2009 18:23

He-Man playset.
Ooh and Mousetrap.

doubleexpresso · 30/11/2009 19:03

Ooh! I wanted a Soda Stream and was desperately envious of anyone who had one. Fizzy drinks whenever you wanted them - wow! I also really really REALLY wanted a rock / gem polisher, but they wouldn't buy me one, because they were too expensive. My BF had a soda stream and a rock polisher
