ja9 · 28/11/2009 23:53

a balance bike here

ShowOfHands · 29/11/2009 00:02

I have bought for 2.6yr old dd...

Some stocking fillers ie flannels, soap, bubble bath, kazoo etc

Some second hand jigsaws

Some glow in the dark stars

No money and she'll get things from grandparents.

She desperately wants a shop so I'm making her one out of a cardboard box, glitter and paint. It's a real labour of love.

mazzystartled · 29/11/2009 00:08

Ah SoH, the shop sounds lovely

DD is 2.10 and she's getting dressing up tutu, wizard of oz dvd (she is obsessed with musicals), some puppy in my pocket puppies, and some little bits of tat for her stocking. when asked what she wants she says "chocolate". she's a cheap date!

Jbck · 29/11/2009 00:16

DD2 just turned 2 has asked Santa for ducks, hers went all mouldy and are now in the bin.

Just need to get some new ones but the rest is pretty minimal. ELC Fairyland Boot, ITNG 2in1 puzzle thing, play figures & small Iggle Piggle. Old fashioned rag doll and new pjs. Bought Vtech laptop but might keep it till she's a bit bigger.

ShowOfHands · 29/11/2009 00:16

DD's shopping list is 'jellybeans, daddy to be at home, a walk outside, Christmas music playing'.

She looks at the shops in catalogues and says 'too many pennies mummy'. So, I'm making one. I can't wait to see her face.

thereistheball · 29/11/2009 06:53

SoH - that's lovely.

WhatSheSaid · 29/11/2009 06:57

For dd (2.2)

Doll's house (second hand)

Stocking stuff - books, some little toy animals, ball, colouring book etc

heartofgold · 29/11/2009 07:29

main thing is a craft box (to match big sis's sewing box), filled with boogly eyes, pompoms, foam shapes, stickers, glitter etc.

Tambajam · 29/11/2009 08:07

Balance bike
A doll called Lolle Alegra (NOT cheap but I am combining donations from most of the relatives).
highchair for a doll

ninedragons · 29/11/2009 08:13

A bubble gun
Some Duplo
A set of Babar picture blocks.

We're pretty minimalist. DH is getting me half a sofa and I am getting him the other half, so no frenzy of wrapping paper at our house...

mamasmissionimpossible · 29/11/2009 08:15

dd, almost 2

peppa pig house, school and figures
ELC rose cottage (half price sale)
some velcro cut food
a dustpan and brush (she loves to sweep the floor
some talking charlie and lola dolls
a few books (maisy)
a small family of pingu penguins with a sledge
peppa pig dvd
bits for a stocking (makka pakka wash mit, bubbles, choc coins)

I managed to get alot of it much cheaper online, so am pleased with the bargains, and I was able to get her more than usual. Lucky girl!
