my budget is only very small £10-£15 maximum but want to get something really special that she will love.

she has quite a lot of money so i want it to be something that she wouldn't think to buy herself and something that has sentimental value

im already going to get her a nice photo of us in a frame (we are having a night out together in a few weeks so wil get someone to take some nice pics) but cant think what else

any ideas??

a wee willow tree ornament?

sowhatis · 27/11/2009 20:24

a tree for her garden? something christmas-y??

A copy of a favourite book from childhood?

If you have several photos you could get a calendar made up. All the supermarkets do those photo gift ideas if they have a photo processing place.

If you have any good local charity shops try searching for an unusual ornament to match her colour scheme. There's usually a lot of tatt but also a few little gems.

Charity sponsorship for an animal or buy her a tree in a woodland (tyr Woodland Trust)

Hope these help!

ive just ordered my friend's present...

www.emgjewellery.co.uk/details.asp?detid=1&id=1281&group=30

she has a lot of health and emotional problems and its been one thing after another for the last 2 years on and off different medication. ive got her a lovely crystal tips and cures book and been through every page looking for the stone that is most appropriate for her

Malachite is good for depression and healing emotional wounds which will both be good for her. its also the stone for the heart chakra point (she has heart problems too) so im hoping she will like this gift.she is open minded to alternative therapies and medicines so im pretty sure she will like this.

what do you think? is it thoughtful do you think?
