MIL- goat from Oxfam. She will hate it

mrspnut · 20/11/2009 20:48

Mum and Dad are having a theatre voucher between them because mum has recently been diagnosed as diabetic and is feeling a bit low.

MIL is having a new set of dictionaries and crossword dictionaries because I am fed up of her trying and failing to use her crappy set whenever we are there. I also dislike it when she calls me to ask me about crossword clues.

MrsGokWan · 20/11/2009 20:49

Joint presnt for MIL and FIL is vouchers for the theatre and exactly the sam for my mum and dad.

elliott · 20/11/2009 20:50

I have neither
But I imagine they are a darn sight easier to buy for than Dads/FIL. I have four men to buy presents for - nightmare!

tassisssss · 20/11/2009 20:56

sadly no MIL to buy for though dh's aunt's getting a rather nice brooch

mum's getting dark brown leather gloves and a nice scarf, both from M&S but I'm waiting in hope that there'll be a 20& off day...

PavlovtheForgetfulCat · 20/11/2009 20:56

Jamie Oliver in USA cook book. We get her a Jamie book every year as she loves him. And she just so happens to be living in USA so she will especially love it this year!

A framed photo of her new grandson, and her granddaughter together.

Probably something silly for her stocking like gel handwarmers for the snowy new mexican winters (well it snowed one year), and a tea towel with map of devon on.

Our company!

She insists we do not buy her anything. She has everything she wants and needs and has to take it back to USA with her so no point buying big. Family all coming too so she will have all their tat to take back too.

MuppetsMuggle · 20/11/2009 20:57

taking my mum clothes shopping as thats what she wants.

for MIL haven't the foggiest yet.

My dad was easy a couple of DVDs he wanted and the rubik 360 puzzle - so far.

FIL a falconry day.

MissGreatBritain · 20/11/2009 20:57

Mum and Dad - board game and a cordless phone and a CD each. (Mum cannot taste or smell anything following an accident some years ago so I'm always a bit limited as to what she will appreciate!)

MIL - nothing (Jehovah's Witness)

PavlovtheForgetfulCat · 20/11/2009 20:57

(MIL that is, my dear mum is not with us)

PavlovtheForgetfulCat · 20/11/2009 20:58

muppets oh my friend did a falconry day this year for his 40th birthday. He absolutely loved it and has got some great pictures from it.
