No idea about DD (1yr) yet.

ds(6) red v-neck jumper with built in white t-shirt under (a bargain £6 in M&S) not sure about trousers or jeans

dd (3) bluey/purpley party dress with either pink/silver sparkly pumps and sparkly cardi to match

dd(1) the most adorable long sleeved navy dress - velvet top and taffeta bottom that her big sister wore 2 years ago

Disenchanted3 · 19/11/2009 19:27

Sounds adorable!
I have a velvety red dress that DD could wear, will need to find a nice cardi and tights though.

I have bought my DD her first ever fruffy party dress - bit pointless I suspect but very pretty!

DanJARMouse · 19/11/2009 19:32

DD1 - No idea, she is such a jeans/joggers girl..... maybe skinny jeans, new black ugg style boots and her new top that is wrapped ready for opening christmas morning.

DD2 - Jeans and Tshirt with her new long line chunky grey knit cardigan that is also wrapped ready to be opened.

DS - Black trousers and shirt

Me - New black trousers and long line smart top

DH - jeans and jumper probably!

We dont tend to "dress up" for christmas as such, and the girls will be out playing on their scooters in the afternoon, so need to be comfortable.

Christmas morning is spent in PJs anyway, which they will have new ones on christmas eve.

Tillyscoutsmum · 19/11/2009 19:35

Have bought this dress for dd to wear with purple tights.

tassisssss · 19/11/2009 19:38

Tillyscout, I love that dress!

HellBent · 19/11/2009 19:51

My mum bought this for DD (3). They have it in navy as well. It is very cute on

busybutterfly · 19/11/2009 19:51

Ooh disenchanted I was going to start this thread soon (was worried I'd be flamed as it's still November!)

Tilly that dress is gorgeous, very reasonable too.

We have 2 Christmas days with different sets of inlaws - the list below is for the dinner on the 22nd so am watching here with interest for the big day itself!!

DS1 (7) jumper, shirt and trousers
DS2 (5) jumper, shirt and trousers
DD (18 months) kilt, matching waistcoat and velvet jacket. Sooooo cute!!

(and yes, we have Scottish relatives so very diplomatic too )

Disenchanted3 · 19/11/2009 19:58

DD (18 months) kilt, matching waistcoat and velvet jacket. Sooooo cute!!

omg too cute!!!

There was a tartan dress with a velvet top half in Asda, I loved it, my mum always dressed us in Tartan at christmas

ds's are 4 and 3. oh, will be 5 and 3 by xmas day we have a mid dec birthday.

Anyway.

Am: pyjamas

Pm: can't usually see their clothes for all the chocolate, bits of xmas pudding, bits of sellotape with xmas wrapping paper attached that they usually end up wearing!

seriously though they just get up and choose their own clothes as usual, so it'll probably be buzz light year or power rangers t shirts!!

tassisssss · 19/11/2009 20:03

actually you've reminded me that dd has a divine red velvet top, red tartan taffeta bottom number that she may have to wear...oh that girl has a way better wardrobe than her mother...

Disenchanted3 · 19/11/2009 20:03

hellbent that dress in in my basket!

Last year ds was 6 months and wore a santa suit, very cute.
This year he will be either a reindeer or a snowman, have not yet bought the outfit.

IsItMeOr · 19/11/2009 20:13

Does anybody have any suggestions for what I could get for DS who will be 9mo to wear on Christmas day? I didn't want to go for something twee, and had fancied this, but cannot find it anywhere in stock .

cherrymonster · 19/11/2009 20:36

DD1 went shopping with my Dad as he doesnt do shopping! She came home with a lovely cream and black tarten skirt and a cream roll neck plus red top and a pack of red/cream tights (all right sizes too) she also persuaded grandad to buy her some leggings/sparkly top/black tutu and silver shoes for her school disco (shes 5 and sdomehoe persuaded him that she needed all of that!)

DD2 wearing abeautiful fine knit silver dress (meant to be a tunic but shes nearly 3 and the 1-2 size looks like a dress!) black tights with silver sparkles in them and black bolero cardi and silver ballet pumps plus got the cutest silver glitter hairband (I love her outfit)

DH will be jeans and a new top (which I need to buy)

Me - black trousers and lovely black long sleeved top with a chiffon overlay v.comfortable

jelliebelly · 20/11/2009 11:26

dd (10 mths) will be wearing this (if she hasn't outgrown it by Christmas Day). ds (4) will probably wear the spiderman outfit that father christmas is bringing him!

Disenchanted3 · 20/11/2009 11:29

Go DD1! Sounds lovely.

I haven't thought about me yet will have to get something though.

I might search ut something tartan for DD, she needs 3 outfits really, one for Xmas day, one for boxing day as having dinner with family and her birthday is Christmas Eve so have to have something nice that day too!
