DSs have the usual new shirt and jeans with tanktops

No idea about DD (1yr) yet.

DD (15m) will be wearing her pink tutu skirt (she loves this, gets it out of the drawer for me to put on her) black top and multi coloured 'Hello Kitty' tights.

DS his green tartan trousers and Curious George t-shirt.

Mary Christmas outfit from Mamas and Papas. Will be a Christmas pudding for the baby group Christmas party though!

DD (3) pink tutu skirt, tinkerbell top and tights, she chose this outfit herself.
DS (10) tracksuit probably!

Diva that's definintely the way to go - was how my parents managed the four of us. It became a family tradition for the ones who were dressed and ready to sit on the stars singing "why are we waiting" to hurry the others along. My dad would usually help to build the suspense by going into the living room and checking that Father Christmas had been. We loved it!

IsItMeOr · 21/11/2009 10:47

jelliebelly that was cute and I was tempted by the gingerbread men sleepsuit for DS but not available in his size. D'oh!

Right, off to look at what they have on Mamas and Papas website.

bronze · 21/11/2009 10:49

Diva glad you said that. Was beginning to wonder if I was the only one who didn't bother with special outfits

DD is 9 in January and is currently insisting on wearing pyjamas all day on the 25th December!!!

She's gone from dress down kid to can't be bothered to dress kid.

lowrib · 21/11/2009 12:23

eh? I can't believe all of you know what your DCs will be wearing already, particularly if it's not a special Chriatmas outfit. Is this normal?

The only exception would be if I happen to come across a cute (but not too naff ) costume while shopping - last year (he was 1 day old ) he wore a raindeer suit. The photos are lovely.

Otherwise, I may think about it the day before if I'm feeling really organised, but probably I will just put him in something nice on Christmas day. Same for my own clothes.

lockets, I agree absolutely forward planning makes things easier, but forward planning on this one for me would be making sure we all had clean clothes, not deciding what to wear over a month in advance!

I'm not having a go at all, I just had no idea people did this and am in

Divatheshopaholic · 21/11/2009 12:46

Isitmeor, thats lovely. we should let daddy go down first and see if father xmas been or not
I dont think i will do special outfits for xmas, it need to be clothes that soft and comfy as they will be all over floor all morning I bet
I actually cant wait xmas, to see dc`s face. Mine are 4.5 and 2.5 at xmas, so it will be first proper xmas as family

MuppetsMuggle · 21/11/2009 12:47
