Is anyone else starting to feel (shh!) Christmassy?

Daren't post this in chat as is only September, but this week I have started to feel very excited about Christmas (may be displacement activity as only just back from holiday and feels autumnal and much colder than before I left. Also takes mind off being back at work, housework, ferrying kids about, etc).
Am looking forward to: making lists; buying presents; shops having Carols; decorating tree; decorations and lights everywhere; Christmas programming schedules and all the lovely build-up. Anyone else feeling excited and want to discuss what they are planning, buying, looking forward to, etc?
Feel free to tell me it's September and I should bugger off / get a life, etc but as this is in Christmas section am hoping those looking at this are in same boat or maybe at least have some sympathy

I brought mince pies in Sainburys at the weekend. They were half price! Thought I was being clever, till I got home and realised the use by date was mid-October.
Not so clever afterall!

Not feeling Christmassy, but starting to prepare for it.

DDs just painted a load of tiles for coasters for our regular 'home made hamper' for grandparents. We have teatowels and cloth bags to tie-dye too. Then, in the week before Christmas, loads of biscuits/sweets/goodies to make as well. And the hamper itself.

I'll start buying presents here and there as well - we only go overdrawn after Christmas if I buy them all in one go in December. If I buy them here and there from now on, we don't notice it

Cant wait either. Will be booking Harrods santas grotto as soon as you can 22nd September missed out last year as so many other things,soo looking forward to it.Also been looking what pantomine`s out there this year never been and looked too late last year.I love christmas made lists for kids will start buying as soon as have some money.

Im feeling christmassy too.It make sense to prepare otherwise i get stressed leaving it all untill december.I work in a nursery and the children are talking about it already too.

Not exactly feeling christmassy yet but i have bought DD1's main pressie off Ebay last night plus picked up two very good boxed toys really cheap in a charity shop. One worth about £44 new, cost me £2.99!

Not exactly feeling Christmassy but planning already.

We bought the ds's lego advent calendars online last week as they always sell out.

I've been wondering when to start making christmas cakes. I ended up in a rush to finish last year so need to start a bit earlier this year.

I've also sorted out my rota at work. We've decided we will be spending christmas at home on our own this year, just have to tell DH's family....eeek.

oh and Noah, when you live in forrin places you have to plan the basics way ahead - we've already missed out on cheap flights and it's only flipping September

But I don't do shopping or cooking or any other planning until December, I only work to tight deadlines
