Not sure if we have had thread saying HURRAH for stonking job that StGeorge has done on the MN christmas appeal this year.
I imagine this to be a hugely time consuming job, at a time of year, when we are all a bit stretched anyway, and she has done it cheerfully, efficiently and all round WONDERFULLY.

Thank you StGeorge and hurrah for generous MNers who contributed

now I would like to read about this in the sunday papers

StG is truly wondrous!

Boco · 28/12/2008 13:37

Well done STG, fab job, you're a star!

FrannyandZooey · 28/12/2008 13:38

I had to email her a couple of times about things to do with the appeal and she replied almost immediately and with great patience (she will know what i mean)

Fabulous job

GaspodisWearingASantaHatHoHoHo · 28/12/2008 13:39

Couldn't agree more! She's an absolute smasher When I read how my receivee really appreciated my gift and it made me feel all warm and fuzzy...you just can't beat that feeling.

Pats on the the back all round!

TinyTimLivesinVictorianSqualor · 28/12/2008 13:40

Well done StG.

ruty · 28/12/2008 13:40

yes why is this not in Sunday Papers?

MmeLindt · 28/12/2008 13:40

Oh, yes. Well done St George, you did a great job.

I had the same thought today when reading about the Moldies in the news carry on. Why do they not report about the Christmas Appeal or the good things done on MN. Possibly because "Mums being nice to each other" doesn't have the same ring to it.

ByThePowerOfBaileys · 28/12/2008 13:41

thank you St George - I was delighted to read the response from the person I nominated - it had exactly the effect I wanted.

you really have done an amazing job

SnowballsintheSky · 28/12/2008 13:41

Yes well done St George

You did a sterling job

pinkspottywellies · 28/12/2008 14:21

I had a tear in my eye reading the thanks thread last week. I've not been involved before but definitely will next year.

Huzzah to all those who took part, esp St George!

littlerach · 28/12/2008 14:26

Brillinat job, StG, and thank you for arranging it so well.

bellavita · 28/12/2008 14:27

Great job StG!

mumoverseas · 28/12/2008 14:27

I concur. It made my day when I read the messages from my recipients. I usually do something like romanian shoeboxes but you never really know if they get where they should do so its lovely to know our gifts were gratefully received.

SaintGeorge · 28/12/2008 14:54

Thank you.

Lulumamaloveslatkes · 28/12/2008 14:55
