which supermarkets sell that 5 bird roast thing??

I know I've seen them somewhere but can't remember where and fancy trying one for new year's eve.

is it one bird stuffed inside another? do you not find it macabre and revolting even for a meat product?

meats are often served together franny. Chicken wrapped in bacon, beef wellington smothered in pate, chicken stuffed with sausagemeat .......etc

yes it is the thing of physically stuffing one animal into another that i find extremely odd

dh calls pate 'creamed meat' sometimes. that is rawther off-putting i must stay.

I am a big carnivore but I would find that a bit odd, visually pleasing maybe but odd to eat. Bird on bird, on bird and so on.

There is a sort of fairytale or story image to it I think, like the old woman that swallowed a fly.
