This year i have moved from white to 200 red holy berry ones, which i thought looked very effective.

DH said he thought he had pulled up outside a brothel when he arrived home {fblush]

Lots of white lights around the home though.

Seona1973 · 16/12/2008 19:58

we have a set of static green and red ones (a green and red bit on each bulb) and a set of flashing multi-coloured led ones - they have 4 colours and you can set them to flash at different speeds.

cheerytinselcherry · 16/12/2008 19:58

Thought about red berries this year, but have stuck to usual white ones on the tree, love them! Have coloured ones at patio doors, white icicles outside.

NewKnickersFromSantaOnMaHead · 16/12/2008 19:59

Soft white only. Anything coloured or flashing is banned (bah humbug emoticon)

nappyaddict · 17/12/2008 22:26

oh yes what do people think about those blue led ones?

heather1980 · 17/12/2008 23:36

multi coloured

Moondancer · 17/12/2008 23:43

White. No coloured tat in the Moon household!

Moondancer · 17/12/2008 23:44

Blue ones- cold and 'police-car' looking.

nappyaddict · 17/12/2008 23:46

So blue ones are tacky yes?

IdrisTheDragon · 17/12/2008 23:47

Multicoloured

Moondancer · 17/12/2008 23:52

Blue ones - not really tacky - just would make me feel very cold!

nappyaddict · 17/12/2008 23:55

They remind me of ambulances

expo · 17/12/2008 23:56

Used to have white ones when a stylish singleton. Then I had children and it is multicoloured all the way now - and if they flash even better. I will go back to white when the kids leave home!!!!

PurpleOne · 18/12/2008 02:26

White ones on the tree and multi coloured ones on the wall.
But the multi coloured ones have been on the wall since last Xmas...they save on electric!

Lizzylou · 18/12/2008 06:02

White
White icicle lights over the garage door outside and a santa outline at window, also white

A neighbour has red "berry" lights on her standard holly tree in her front garden, it looks lovely.

foxytocin · 18/12/2008 06:16

I will be spending Christmas in the Middle East. DH went out yesterday and bought an already decorated tree for dd1. It looks like it belongs in a rave party. Dh says there were more garish ones in the shop.
