When are you putting your Chrsitmas tree up?

I'm thinking maybe tomorrow? Or is that too early? I love the fairy lights though and think DS will totally love it as he was too wee last year to appreciate it!

Am to admit it but the dd's got the better of us tonight(next door have theirs up) and we said sod it and put the tree up
We lurch from one extreme to the other though.Last year we didnt bother until 4 days before christmas.

mine is up but not decorated yet. will do it tomorrow night when kids are in bed

We dont do it till the 12th (or there abouts) but this year I might leave it later as chances are i'll have 4 cats and 11 month old DD to contend with.

Next weekend apparently- usually before ds1's birthday (Wednesday coming), but the lights are needed by the PTA on Thursday

when I find someone to get it out of the attic for me - which will hopefully be tomorrow night as I have my BF's DH coming over to finish a few bits of DIY he was doing for me - so I'll smile sweetly and hand him the ladder..................well he can hardly let his godson down can he by not getting the tree out for me to decorate and his godson (DS3) to then undecorate

13th, DP & I are taking DS out to a woods type thing where apparently you can cut them down for no more than £5-£10 so we shall see if it's right or not, then DP is going to help DS decorate it before we go off to up to the oldies for our 'family xmas dinner'

ds 1 finishes school on the 12th ater his nativity where he is a cockerill (oh yes he is!) with words to say and everything (I am proud, can you tell?)

garden centre then home to decorate. Then to the 'Victorian Extravaganza' with steam engines, rides, hot roating chestnuts, carol singing and the like so very excited here...

We will put it up on the 6th as here St Nikolaas comes on the night of the 5th - so we put it up on the 6th althought I am tempted to do it now.

We do it as the Children Robe themselves with their ceremonial pyjamas on the stroke of midnight xmas eve. Dp is to be found cursing in the loft.
Its so joyous.

Ours went up on Friday! Looks gorgeous - ds is now 5 so first time really in years can put it all up and he won't fiddle with / pull it over on him! Haven't done the rest of the house yet - outside lights etc but have made a start.

usually around the 1st but not this year have to wait for conservatory to be finished which should be a week on thurs so will be up on the fri..lol

We are doing ours this Friday as we are having a party on Saturday and I want the house to look Xmassy. And St Miklaus arrives here in Hungary on the 6th too.
