Cos by the time I go to bed tonight my Christmas shopping (well at least Santa's) will be complete!

90% done....a couple of internet orders to place but I know exactly what i want and from where.

Then I just have to work out what to get for 5 nieces and nephews and then done.

Oh and hopefully by the time I go to bed tomorrow it will all be wrapped ready for DP to put in loft on Monday - except of course the couple of internet orders I am about to place.

And I got a pressie fo r a penny.

And a book reduced from £20 to £5 today so feeling super smug (although I had promised to buy book of Lapin...but I don't think she will blame for for snapping up a bargain )

And it is only 8th Nov

I normally start really early...but drag it out till Christmas.

I did most on Monday...and just wanted to get it done once I had started. I may still pick up some stocking fillers if I see them when I am out and about...but don't need too IYSWIM.

DoNotAttempttoblowupparliament · 08/11/2008 17:26

I just hope that they don't spring any signicant surprises on their final Santa list [gulp].

They had done an "idea's" list....

and all my homemade Xmas cards are done (this afternoon)

and i know exactly what im cooking for Xmas dinner and tea etc some bits i have got but most will be purchased nearer the day

i already have the ribbons and paper etc, but havent wrapped them yet, which is because i LOVE having a mammoth wrapping session with Xmas music on then placing them all straight under the Xmas tree And i have no plans for an xmas tree for at least another month

DeadTall · 08/11/2008 17:46

Home made christmas cards nannyL ??????? how on earth do you make the time??????

MissKubelik · 08/11/2008 17:52

done here too, and I've written my Christmas cards...

I am due to give birth sometime in the next month though so I doubt this level of pre-planning will ever be repeated!

nannyL · 08/11/2008 18:03

Deadtall

i always make all My Xmas cards

I guess being a nanny I normally have weekend days without any kiddywinks to look after (unlike mummies who have them around all the time) so I can just watch 2 films in a row on a cold wet Saturday afternoon and make them, while i watch

Concepta · 08/11/2008 18:12

I do not like Christmas and can't wait to get it over. I wish someone would do the shopping for me. The children don't know what they want. I have no idea what to buy anyone. Roll on January!!!!!!!

HairRaisingPixie · 08/11/2008 18:17

I have done ANYTHING for Christmas yet, don't even know who is hosting it this year yet!!!
