You can get to it here.

The booking fee goes to Make a Wish foundation and I understand from friends that it is really great for kids. I have booked tickets to take ds .

Thank you soooo much just booked

MamaHobgoblin · 21/10/2008 13:43

Sounds fun... but just pmsl at this, from the FAQ:

"The number of children and the length of time large groups can spend in a cabin will be at the elves? discretion."

FimboGotAxed · 21/10/2008 13:44

Do you think it would be wrong to go to Harrods and Selfs on the same day?

CharleeInChains · 21/10/2008 13:46

I have got tickets for Harrods but now it looks like we may not be able to make it, i am doing everything in my power to get there though.

spammythevampireslayer · 21/10/2008 13:48

MamaH - I had not read that, very very funny. I will prepare a pleading look for the elves!

It will be ds' first visit to Santa, so I am prepared for him to potentially be terrified, so any tips on how to minimise that are very very welcome. He is 3.5 y.o.

Fimbo - as long as you can get across town AND explain why Father Christmas is in two places at once....

dilbertina · 21/10/2008 13:49

fimbo - might be a few questions if santa looks different....

The Selfridges one was great last year.

spammythevampireslayer · 21/10/2008 13:50

Good luck Charlee - I do hope you can go with dcs!

paow · 21/10/2008 13:59

bamboostalks · 21/10/2008 14:13

thehouseofmirth · 21/10/2008 14:13

Just booked to take DS on my birthday (how sad am I?!). Am so excited! My parents used to take me here when I was little!

AbbaFan · 21/10/2008 20:17

Thanks - I have booked

redzuleika · 21/10/2008 22:09

Thanks. We've booked. I know my husband has been looking forward to it...

frazzled74 · 22/10/2008 10:00

thankyou for this .have just booked will be great suprise for dc's.

mumoverseas · 22/10/2008 12:45

thanks for that, we've just booked too. Had been thinking about Lapland UK but having read the reports for last year (and seen the cost) decided on a day out in London instead!

sb6699 · 22/10/2008 23:38

Okay having a "moment". On the booking form it asks how many are in your party - do I include me or just the dc's?

littlestrawberry · 22/10/2008 23:44

Thankyou so much I've booked. First time taking the dc's up to London at Christmas should be fun

littlestrawberry · 22/10/2008 23:45

Further down the page sb699 it asks how many adults and how many children.

goreousgirl · 23/10/2008 00:01

Thank you!! What a great idea!!

sb6699 · 23/10/2008 00:07

Littlestrawberry - thank you (obviously its past my bedtime and the brain isn't working as well as it should!)

FAQ · 23/10/2008 00:18

should I........shouldn't I?

Would love to take the DS's - but should I really spend all that money getting them down there on the train, negotiating the tube for 15 minutes (well 3-5 minutes "with" Santa).....

frazzled74 · 23/10/2008 09:52

have booked this for 22nd dec. will be first time that I have been to london at christmas time with dc's 15, 5 and 2.5. I dont want to spend too much, any ideas for cheap places to eat and of other christmasy places to visit before and after santa visit?

spammythevampireslayer · 23/10/2008 09:52

But then you get to go and see the christmas lights, ride on the top floor of a 159 bus from Selfridges all the way to Trafalgar square, visit the National Gallery, have a hot chocolate at the Pret a Manger (Or better a little Caf, but I have forgotten where they are, so I need to track them down.), visit Hamley's, etc...... I am very excited, as have never taken ds to London and am meeting with a friend and her dcs at Selfridges on 18 December!

frazzled74 · 23/10/2008 10:05
