Mmmm, cheesy footballs, haven't had them for years. But if we did have them at Christmas, I would definitely eat them. I start hoovering food down about 7am on Christmas day and don't stop until somewhere around Jan 8th...

MorticiaAnnSpookington · 16/10/2008 15:01

LOL

I don't think I've eaten a cheesy football since I was a child!

shinyshoes · 16/10/2008 15:03

What's a cheesy football?

ilove · 16/10/2008 15:03

My husband LOVES dates!

MorticiaAnnSpookington · 16/10/2008 15:03

my mum used to get me to de-skin almonds every Christmas Eve and put them out with those lovely muscatel raisins...mmm,they were nice. My friend's family always had Chinese Figs, which are jellied fig sweets I think..never touched them though.

I like the liquers, you bite into one and all the juice falls onto your chin

MorticiaAnnSpookington · 16/10/2008 15:04

cheesy footballs are wafery balls with a weird cheesy filling -

mmmm eat me dates

I usually eat enough of those to make myself feel thoroughly nauseous with all the sickly sweetness

tis all part of Christmas imo

MorticiaAnnSpookington · 16/10/2008 15:05

I love liqueur chocolates. Give me a box of Famous Names and a Yuletide episode of Only Fools and Horses and I'm a happy bunny...

shootfromthehip · 16/10/2008 15:07

I will not, will not have a word said against the deliciousness that is the cheese football. Awesome.

Flamesparrow · 16/10/2008 15:07

Snaf · 16/10/2008 15:09

Not on its own, MAS, but as a Snowball? In a Babycham glass, with a cherry? Now you're talking.

Botbot · 16/10/2008 15:09

Was just about to mention eggnog.

And Meltis New Berry Fruits.

Botbot · 16/10/2008 15:10

It is the law, however, to have something in one's mouth at all times on Christmas Day.

Mercy · 16/10/2008 15:10

Or some Blue Nun?

MorticiaAnnSpookington · 16/10/2008 15:11

Being in Scotland, my Dad used to make sure everyone had a single malt in their hand by 10.30am! TOO much!

Mercy · 16/10/2008 15:14
