Hi all. I'm just caretaking until Reastie returns, but here's our new thread. Please do use up the old one first though.

This is intended as a friendly, kind, safe, warm and fuzzy place for people to share discounts, bargains and Christmas gift ideas both online and IRL. Please note the tone and intention of the thread and join with spirit as generous as DC helping themselves to the Christmas chocolate celebrations

Here’s some useful information about how to save the thread or a specific post so you don’t need to have a message to check in for every thread so you have the thread saved:

To watch the thread - click on the little bell that has ‘watch’ under my first message. This adds the whole thread to your ‘watched threads’

You can also bookmark a specific post by clicking on the ‘bookmark’ under the specific post. This saves your exact place in a thread but doesn’t alert you to new replies.

If you have any referral links or codes, please share them on the referral thread here:

A reminder that we don't use affiliated links on here please

Some lovely Christmas bedding on Online Home Store - Ordered pink and blue gingerbread man ones for the kids for a fiver, plus matching fleece blankets for £3ish.

Thank you @Theimpossiblegirl . I think I'll stick with the Mystery Guides even though they're more expensive. They've won an award for Gift of the Year 2026 and I can't see any reviews for the Treasure Hunt books.

The Mystery guides had a black Friday offer last year.

Woweehooha · Yesterday 21:56

This may be very obvious, but do check your Boots offers.
I was looking for some aftershave for DH for Christmas. The big brands are so expensive these days so I was very happy I could use two advantage card offers to get £11 off an (already reduced on Star offers) YSL one for him.
My offers stacked and were something like £5 off when you spend £30 online, and another one for £6 off when you spend £30. Plus double points as it’s my birthday month.

Ooh, thank you. I'll keep an eye open.
They're currently buy two get one free. I only really need two for DC but if that's the best offer I'll get one for DS's girlfriend too, but would rather get her something else I've seen.

I've just found these play note pads from pretend paper co https://pretendpaper.co/
I bought 4 and got free delivery, 20% off and added code SAVE and got another £3 odd off
They look beautiful and I think they'll work even though my daughter can't read or write yet.
The vet one will go perfectly with the vet set she is getting from the great little trading company.
The ice cream order pad will go with the wooden ice lollies and hobby craft cardboard colour in ice cream van she's getting (she already has the Melissa and Doug ice cream counter)
The cafe pad and doctor pad I think I'll save for her birthday.
They look much nicer than ones on Amazon too

Thank you. I have been eyeing these up for my nearly 5 year old

I’d add to the treasure hunt chat that Treasure Trails are also excellent and a bit cheaper. I’ve done several of them and enjoyed them as much as the Mystery Guides.

Can these link with google photos?

When you set up your frame, you are given an access code to share, The code receiver then downloads the frameo app and you can send photo's to the frame through the app. We all have different devices and have never had a problem sending them.

I have bought the treasure trails by converting my tesco clubcard points. They are good.

Was someone looking for an oura ring discount? If you bank with Lloyds there is an 8% cashback for the ring 5 but you have to use the Lloyds link to purchase for it to track

takemebacktothe80splease · Today 08:06

Thank you so much! I’ve gone back in and had a pop up for 10% as a first time customer, which I am, so I will go ahead with that.

for anyone also interested in prepping for emergencies the reason for my order was to go for the £20 portable camping stove and £6 whistling kettle (members prices) so if the power does go out we can still fill hot water bottles, have a brew, cook basic meals

Kloudy Jewellery- Avoid avoid. The earrings, necklace etc I ordered came in little plastic bags I can’t give them as gifts it will look as if I’ve just grabbed something from my jewellery box. The pieces are nothing like the photos. So frustrating I fell for the Facebook ad.

olivietolivie · Today 08:29

@xOlivethank you very much I have got a 10% off code now which off set the £5 membership cost so I’m happy
