Please can anyone recommend a dressing table for a child? Thank you

It looked like there was a wooden one at Aldi in the wooden toy sale which starts tomorrow. Sorry, I can’t remember the price

Does anyone know if branded products on Amazon Haul tend to be genuine or knock offs? The whole thing looks like AliExpress which makes me very sceptical 😂

Toooldforlonghair · 07/10/2026 09:50

Asking you lovely ladies on here for your experience of silk pillows? I've heard that they are good for eczema sufferers and am thinking of getting one for my daughter.

I sew and could run one up in half and hour but the recommended Mulberry Silk is around £35 a meter so I am wondering if it's worth the effort? As is often the case these days it may be cheaper just to buy but have no idea where or how much they cost? Any suggestions please ladies?

I’ve thought exactly the same. I’ve bought some bits on Haul, mostly stocking fillers, but wouldn’t use it for anything important or branded.

I had chemo last year and lost all my hair. Bought silk pillowcases from M&S (in the Black Friday sale, IIRC.) Not mulberry silk - isn't that quite rough? They are smooth. Just fantastic when I was bald.

I don’t know how you guys manage to find the bargains you do as I never find anything! So on that note, anyone know where I can get the lego marvel advent calendar without paying full price please?! I would love to get one for my son but £30 is just a bit steep 😬 Google is not helping

Fireside10 · 07/10/2026 09:57

So how many 95p Terrys chocolate oranges did everyone buy this morning in Tesco? 😅 I went a bit mad.

I also saw lots of Hello Kitty/Toy Story/Lilo and Stich fidget pens and pencil cases within the clearance section.

Thank you! I was also trying to figure this out

The amazon haul brnaded products are genuine and weirdly are dispatched by amazon so lots of my stuff is arriving today.

The prices on the site show as full price then if you push redeem on the 30% off it calculates the discount on the basket. It also takes another 10% off if your basket starts off as more that £50.

There is lego- not a huge selection. I got mini figures and a spider.

Loads of branded swim gear from Speedo, arena and tyr. Someone else said addidas too.

Basker ross, galt, staedler, yoto, ravensburg, clementoni, cards against humanity, uno are all brands ive seen there. Similar price to regular amazon site, but at check out it takes off an extra 30%. Also tala, wilton, chef aid and PME for kitchen gifts.

Useless to say now but I bought some Ambustum candles on the super seconds festival, hadn’t heard of them before.

they’ve just arrived and the votives are teeny and the stuff is obvious seconds (dinged jar lids, mucky labels, a sticker saying ‘seconds’ on a box which peeled off okay) but they smell so posh I’m really happy with them! Every one I smelled was beautiful. Will defs look out for them next year (not paying full price obvs). There was a pack of sample smells in there and everything was great.

Yes! What's everyone buying from Amazon Haul today while the 30% (+ extra discounts) are on?

Not a bargain that I know of but there's a Nightmare Before Christmas edition of the card game Flip 7 out later this month.
