I bought some a couple of weeks ago and it was VERY short- dated, I think mine was October '26.
Not a problem for me as I find it's short-lived once in my house anyway 😳but no good for gifting.

😭😭😭 I just bought 3 for Christmas gifts! Lesson learned! Wish I’d read this 5 minutes ago!

VariantHela · 04/10/2026 10:13

Thank you for the moonpig code! Just nabbed the Cath Kidson sets and the morph brushes too

BadgerFace · 04/10/2026 10:14

Thank you to whoever gave the Bloom & Wild tips - I gave myself an October birthday and they sent me a 50% off any item code today which means I’ve just bought DD13 the Jellycat birthday cake which she really wants so I’m over the moon! It comes with some white chocolate which is an added bonus…

Thank you @Donsyb x

There's a set of 3 x pack of Burts Bees kissable lip shimmers / balm for £6.04 instead of £13.99 - sorry links playing up!

VikingNorthUtsire · 04/10/2026 10:41

Thanks @Ceejadess for the Moonpig code. Also picked up a couple of the reduced Cath Kidston gifts ❤️

I’ll mention Petite Clay Patisserie again as a Superseconds seller. I bought from her yesterday, but went back to her site this morning and have made another order.

She’s so quick to respond to messages and the things she sells are so detailed and cute, for example Charcuterie board earrings which are £15 for the pair.

Looking at the Superseconds section you might like this heart shaped Pepperoni pizza for £3:50, which you could buy attached to a necklace or as earrings if you buy two.

I have no personal connection with this maker, just a very happy repeat buyer. She says she lives in Lancashire, has a 9 - 5 job and makes these items in her spare time to help pay the bills. Just what Mumsnet posters often suggest when people ask how to make a little more money.

Not as good as the Boots Clearance mentioned above, but my local TKMAXX had quite a few Flat Lay drawstring bags and the zip type for £12.99 yesterday.

Also at the same price were the diagonal zip open flat type make up bags from Elle, Ben Sherman and others. They had Ted Baker ones for £19.99.

The Beauty Clearance section also had some bargains, including a scalp massager for £2.50.

If anyone has previously bought any candles, bath bombs or soaps from any super second sellers and can recommend them, I would appreciate it. I’m looking for
smaller, filler type presents to make some gift baskets.

Edited

I got introduced to Bathe Enchanted during the Super Seconds event last year and have already bought themed bath bombs from them again for DGC so can recommend them for children’s gifts not experienced any adult products personally .

I’ve been following this page for a while now, not yet got around to ordering but I see they have a special offer this weekend where if you spend £65 you can get a free bracelet worth £34.95 using the code ADDSPARKLE

I think you would have every right to ask for a refund/free return if there is only a couple of weeks to go before the expiry date! It doesn't say anywhere on the listing that it's close to expiry. They are meant to be gifts rather than for immediate consumption, so it's perfectly reasonable to expect a decent amount of time before it expires....

Very fair point. Thank you. I’ll see what the date is when they arrive tomorrow. Thanks for the tip.

Costco have some lovely Korean skincare in at the moment for great prices if you arse a member. Prices are a little cheaper in-store than online. Example I got the Dokdo Toner for £14.38 for the 2 x 200 plus 1 x 100ml

You can also cancel on the live chat on their website. I've just cancelled mine, just in case. It was v quick to do. I asked in the chat first if they could guarantee and a minimum period that the product would be in date for and they said no, so i cancelled.

Could someone please help me with the NZ honey Steens discount code? I had the 3 set in my basket and after downloading Coupert it’s replaced the 60% discount and I can’t find it even after trawling back? Thanks v much

IHopeYouStepOnALegPiece · 04/10/2026 11:44

Is anyone else a bit grossed out by the smell of their P.Louise micellar water 😂

Moonnstarz · 04/10/2026 11:49

Not sure if it's the right set but there is a Lego lightening McQueen set on offer on Amazon today.

Yes, definitely can’t tolerate it but worth a try for £1.

Mom2manykids · 04/10/2026 11:57

Jumping back on as I lost you all 🤣

Definitely! Luckily my 4yo goddaughter loves making "Perfumes" (water with...really random stuff in 😂) so shell love it for that

ChristmasMad1 · 04/10/2026 12:06

Has anyone who had issues heard from P Louise? I've emailed them but no response, slightly annoyed at the free mystery bundle just being a sleeping mask

Stripybluetowel · 04/10/2026 12:08

I need to get an SD card, possibly a san disk pro, any one know of any deals?
