Ocado xmas slot booked

Ocado xmas delivery slot booked - with the traditional couple of bottles of baileys making up the value to allow checkout. I got an email yesterday saying slots available "for you, tomorrow"

So am I special? 🤣 Do they open for everyone on different days, did others get theirs already?

Only asking because I logged on, chose slot, did a shop, checked out. Just like that. No tesco wait-line of doom, no app crashing out, no "sorry, no slots available when YOU want". Was quite civilised.

You are the chosen one: my Ocado webpage and app are just the same as they were earlier in the week (Bath; get served by Bristol and Andover). I think they did mention that they will be releasing slots this week to Smartpasses.

It was quite easy to get a slot last year.

I've booked mine. I couldn't get to sleep last night so went straight in and booked it by about seven minutes past midnight! I'll go back and have another look next week as the turkey options seemed very limited.

Same here - still not opened for me. And we get deliveries 1-2 times a week, and have our refund requests processed immediately which I’ve heard rumours to mean that we’re higher up in the customer loyalty queue. So somewhat disappointed we can’t book yet!

I always like the 23rd so there's still time if they don't deliver a crucial ingredient for something... last year it was the cream cheese for the cheesecake for christmas lunch. Low fat Philadelphia doesn't set for some reason.

Midweek pass. I was awake at midnight and saw a thread about M&S so I checked
and there they were. Our slot reserved with three bottles of champagne !

London, midweek Smart Pass.

Mine opened today and I’ve booked. I’ve had a full pass for probably 15+ years though.

no opening for me yet. I will probably get the message saying my weekly Sunday night slot has to be cancelled because they will be toooooo busy to do it then loads of emails saying extra Xmas slots released including my regular like they did last year.
I'm not that fussed tbh I can't plan that far ahead my brain is haphazard.

London midweek pass, not opened for me.

I also only have a midweek pass, am in Gloucestershire, so I think it comes from Bristol, have shopped with them since Waitrose times, but not every week, maybe one in 3.

Im in London and booked this morning. I’ve had a full pass for at least 20 years.

Don’t you find lots of things go out of stock?
I’ve only bothered booking a slot three times in about 16 years of having a pass, once I forgot to edit it and got two bottles of champagne and some cranberry sauce, the other two times vital components and lots of treats were missing and I had to go to the supermarket anyway.

London, full pass for at least five years and spend circa £150 a week and still no access.

It's always a phased release. No idea of the logic. I've never had any problem with out of stock items on my Christmas delivery. I never go for Christmas Eve as I want to allow time to go out and buy anything crucial that doesn't get delivered, but it's never really been an issue.

I got mine too! Set an alarm for midnight ‘cos I am tragic like that but also because it wasn’t clear if it was a general release or the usual rollout.

Have shopped with them from the very beginning with an all singing, all dancing pass (they will prise that from my cold, dead paws)and have 2 deliveries to different addresses weekly.

I haven't been able to book my Christmas slot yet, but did have an email from Ocado last week saying that I'd be able to book at some point this week:

"we always stagger the release of our Christmas slots, and as a Smart Pass member, you'll get early access next week. However, please remember that slots are subject to availability."
