What are you eating on Boxing Day?

Looking for suggestions. We don’t want to make a whole other roast dinner but we want to have something nice… Any suggestions?

Cheese, mostly! Maybe an odd cracker and pickled onion.

A curry or casserole

Cold meat & chips usually. Turkey or ham.

Another Christmas dinner for the other side of the family 🤣

We make a pie out of the leftover meat and just have it with green veg.

All the cheese! In particular, baked Camembert and warm crusty bread. Along with leftover roast potatoes and leftover pigs in blankets.

Leftovers in the form of cold meats, bubble and squeak or chips, pickles and salads.
Everyone fends for themselves here, I go on strike 🫠

A roast dinner of some sort for lunch at MILs.

Tea will just be us helping ourselves to cheese, ham, cold turkey, crackers, pickles etc. Whatever we still have room for 😂.

brunch: full English breakfast

dinner: hot pork and apple sauce, cold turkey, lots of cheeses and salami, pate, various breads, crackers and salads, pickles/olives/chutneys, cold meat pie, homemade sausage rolls

Chocolate orange trifle for pudding.

cold turkey and ham, salads, mashed potatoes and cheese.

We’re getting an Indian takeaway. Very much looking forward to it

Cheese and porkpie

I think we could do bagels and bacon for brunch, husband doesn’t want to make another full English after Christmas morning. Need something light for Boxing Day evening… so we can still enjoy cheeses and so on later on

Cold meats, pork pie, scotch eggs, salad bit, coleslaw, new potatoes.
Bread, cheese, pringles....chocolate...

I get in loads of cheese, chutneys, salami, part baked bread and crackers, we eat as hungry and add left over turkey, ham, pigs in blankets, stuffing to whatever meal we like.

Leftovers and cheese. And wine. And chocolate.

This! Whack everything in a dish with some gravy then put some ready rolled puff pastry on top.

Pudding will be cheese in front of the next instalment of Stranger Things 😁 I think I may be more excited for Boxing day than Christmas Day this year.

@Beekman We will be having an Indian too. We have one every year.
