No need for that. We have no idea of the OP's financial situation. It is more than enough imo, others will no doubt disagree.

How rude and unnecessary.

Ignore this poster, OP, it’s a very generous Christmas present pile. Your kids will be thrilled.

Statsquestion1 · 12/12/2025 10:05

God not a brag! Just a comparison, I’ve seen a lot more!🤣🤣

Edgelord 🙄

hididdlyho · 12/12/2025 10:08

Looks like a nice pile of thoughtful and useful gifts. I always seem to go from not having a clue what to buy people, to thinking of more things. Then find I've bought too much, so save something for their birthday present for the next year.

…some people will have a lot more… some people will have a lot less. Everyone will get what they deem enough for their children. This is what I deem more than enough. That’s my point. It’s my opinion. I’m laughing at the fact that I started off with what I thought was enough and I have somehow ended up here. I’m not here to compare to anyone else. I’m just here to have a laugh at how we do these things at Christmas. I know there’s others out there who will agree and who have done similar. Like I also know there’s some people out there who have great willpower and will stop where they see fit.

That looks like a nice lot of Christmas presents! Just about right in my opinion 👌👍

Overthebow · 12/12/2025 10:11

It’s a great amount OP and your DC will love it. I think this is what Christmas is about, having fun and finding thoughtful things along the way, not about massive flashy present piles.

Oh do you think so that’s great! I do always worry that I’ve gone overboard 🤣

Looks lovely OP, not OTT and very thoughtful presents

thisfilmisboring123 · 12/12/2025 10:17

I would say it’s a perfect amount and very similar to what we (well me lol) try to do

Good amount to open but not too many were it just becomes silly.
Nice mix of few expensive bits and some cheaper, useful/nice items.

Tammygirl12 · 12/12/2025 10:17

What a horrible reply. You’re an unpleasant twat.

Great haul, OP! I love the grey cushiony thing. Need to get one for my DS

Go back to bed and get up on the right side.

You are embarrassing yourself

Looks good OP, but stop there!

No, I think thats about right. I've just taken a photo of one of my dcs presents wrapped. I'll see if I can post it now. I always add bits on and they end up with more than I had intended. Its also Dc birthday a couple of days after Christmas! The santa wrapping is his presents for the living room, minus his main present, which is currently hidden in the attic. The green presents are for his stocking. I dont usually wrap them, but I've been on sick leave so I decided I would. Dc2 also has the same amount. So maybe not an impressive haul, but they will be happy and we are within budget amd have spent what we can afford. (Photos waiting to be approved).

Just went to quote that snide cow with the bitchy reply but I think MN have deleted her reply. Hope she has a shite Christmas. 😂

Nofilter · 12/12/2025 10:26

Totally with you OP! I was so organised this year! Got a list in November, purchased said list within a week. Have now spent numerous £10-30 top ups including another one late last night 🤦‍♀️.

Its addictive!! Your pile looks ace :))

BauhausOfEliott · 12/12/2025 10:41

Looks like an ideal present pile to me!

I'm actually a little sad that I'm no longer at the age where I'm likely to be opening a Lego racing car set or a cuddly Highland cow on Christmas Day. Maybe next year I'll ask my partner to buy me toys instead of grown-up things!

Catpiece · 12/12/2025 10:43

Love the teddy character ❤️

Oooh I love this!!! It gets me so excited. I do the same. I wrapped the Santa presents in a different paper. He only gets one or two from Santa and then the rest are for us. I also don’t do stocking so this is literally it. He will of course get gifts from Family though.

@ BauhausOfEliott -
You’re never too old for Lego! I have got my DS a Star Wars spaceship for Christmas - he’s 40…
