Thread 20 - the one with Christmas?

I'm taking a punt that this one might see us until Christmas. Will likely live to be proved wrong but let's go with the punt!

The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links (is that the right word?) Teen DD would like a deep red scarf for Xmas. This should be simple but is proving challenging as I don’t want to spend more than £20, it can’t be from Primark (as last year’s moulted all over her!) or anywhere that I’d buy stuff from (Next, M&S, Fat Face etc). It must be soft & warm but not fleece or knitted. Any help in finding this unicorn?

9yo daughter decided to ask Santa for Pusheen stuff for Christmas, has anyone seen anything in real life shops please?

I have bought a plush and poster book from Amazon but would like some clothing (I have seen the t-shirt from Next that's got Macaroons on but I feel like the actual Pusheens are too small).

I'd ideally also like some "bits", hoping someone may have noticed something whilst out and about. Thanks!

DS (4) went to see Santa yesterday and confidently asked him for a robot, a marble run and dominoes. Only the marble run was on his actual list! I thought I was done but now scrabbling.

The robot "has a square head" and shoots rainbows that stay in the sky forever 🙃 I've explained Santa didn't have that kind of magic. If someone knows of a good robot for that age with a square head that isn't spendy please let me know!

For dominoes, he played with mine from the 90s that came on a track, so they were easy to set up and knock down. I don't think these are a thing any more (they were called funny dom according to my mum) but perhaps one of those trains that sets up dominoes again if anyone has any recommendations? Thanks!

@PlanBea I googled Funny Dom out of curiosity... The search results didn't find dominoes... Maybe some games more for kinky adults than domino playing kiddos 😁 I'd rather have found a square headed robot shooting eternal rainbows 🌈 🤖 sorry, not much help to your cause but I did find a 90s track called Domino Express/Domino Rally and found a glow in the dark one on eBay? Haven't read the details but the bashed box could have been a present that fell off Santa's sleigh 😁 (sorry if that's completely different to what you need, was just curiously having a look to see what a track was) oh, also a cheaper vintage daredevil one!

We had a power man robot, doesn't have a square head and not rainbows but it does shoot discs which are different colours.

@ChristmasMad1 they have music T-shirts on boohoo man- just type ‘licensed’ in the search bar. Alternatively they sometimes have them on sports direct amongst the dc/marvel offerings.

My football strips arrived from Jersey4U!! About a month after ordering, but hey ho! They look pretty decent. I'll need to compare to the real thing in a shop, but should be fine to wear for the 5 minutes that Scotland will be in the world cup for!

£70 for 4 delivered- wouldn't even get one for that.

@Puffaliciousthanks for your update. I only ordered DDs two weeks ago so won’t hold out any much hope of getting it before Xmas. I did get an email confirmation and I did pay about a pound more that it was supposed to be just like the reviews said so 🤞
