Welcome to Christmas 2025!

This post is a work in process and if you have any links you’d like to share or would be good to add then please do let me know. Oooh, just thought Laithwaite's was just wine! That might be the VERY thing. I need a bottle of each- nice ones- but could add some extras (I have plenty nieces/ nephews in their 20s and my own sons) for top up gifts. Brilliant!

All my adult family rave about linkee. I haven’t played it, but the description a PP gave doesn’t sound the same as how my family play it because they said something to do with trying to guess the link between the answers to questions and then shouting out linkee when you think you’ve got the answer - maybe there’s more than one way of playing. They all think it’s great anyway!

@AWintersDayInADeepAndDarkDecember - thanks for looking. I might have a look again before midnight. It’s so annoying as it was live on the site at £10 but there was a glitch stopping the reduction appearing in the basket. Presumably if I had been awake at 5am it would have worked by then!

Re: Anthropologie I stupidly did ‘collect in store’ for my item to avoid postage and have heard nothing since last week when they said they were getting it ready. Yet they spam me multiple times a day! I don’t think I am getting my item!

I've got my small team an Eleanor Bowman Christmas Mug and pink prosecco. The Christmas mugs have come down to £8 each and I do know that the ladies on my team love the Eleanor Bowman mugs so that helped me- but it was just to pass on an idea.

I need to get benefit mascara lashes for real. The same one that was a bargain last year. Any of your beauty experts know the best way?. I actually had it ordered from Very with my 20% off and it went missing with the Lego I ordered. This year has been misery for lost orders.

Do you have a M&S Sparks card? I think a lot of members have 20% off beauty at the moment and they sell Benefit products. (my 20% off ends in 1 day so you might want to be quick if you have the offer).

@Thelifeofawife , my husband is also into his cars - I bought him an endoscope camera from Amazon (one with a semi-rigid cable), he'll love that because he inevitably loses random tiny little screws if he's trying to change a headlight bulb or something. Can't link because I can't be bothered to sign out from Amazon (sorry!) but it was less than £20. Also bought him a fantastic little cordless vacuum cleaner for his car as he likes to keep it nice, that looks brilliant actually. From Amazon too, maybe about £25 I think.

Also bought him a little Gerber multi-tool thing, it's very small so it's to fit on a keyring. I can't see the one I bought him now but they have a few, all about £10. Quite handy I think.

Thank you! Funnily enough I’ve purchased the endoscope & car vac for male relatives before, but it didn’t occur to me this year, and there’s definitely a couple of them I can gift these to!
I’ll take a look at the gerber tool as well

That’s happened to me before. I imagine IT elves working overnight each week to put the £10 items in the right place, and they doing something which changes the prices just for one day. I’ve never chanced on a time when only some of the £10 items were in that section. They seem to appear all together, and later the basket prices change, but I haven’t studied this deeply.

Yes, I do keep late hours and love a bargain 😉
