Thanks @RainbowZebraWarrior for helping me out and I'm so excited that I was on my computer and she tagged me so I could set this one up - hurrah!

Feeling super festive today after getting the decorations up and visiting Father Christmas. Exciting news is the Christmas bedding and jumpers are all down from the loft and being washed, so I'll soon be able to walk around in my 'I [heart] Christmas' jumper

@Chocolateteabag I’ve not seen heated trousers, but heated socks are a thing. Thermal long johns and thermal lined trousers might work? https://www.blazewear.com/heated-base-layer-pants-unisex-black having gone down a rabbit hole of this, these are well regarded in the angling community

@Chocolateteabag - would it be possible to put those hand warmer thingies in the pockets of baggy cargo type trousers with warm leggings underneath? I’m almost sure I haven’t imagined that you can get heated pads for feet but wouldn’t swear to it 😹

For anyone who has received the chuckling cheese advent calendar, did you get a delivery notification email?

I’ve had nothing since order confirmation on Saturday. It’s showing as ‘on the way’ on the Shop app, but nothing to confirm dispatch or a delivery estimate. Bit worried it might be a warm, smelly mess by the time it arrives.

It showed as on its way on the shop app before it was shipped. I had an email off them to say they were preparing it, then that they had sent it, then updates from dpd including a text with a hour delivery slot.

@MydeamonsanOstrich yes, I did - I got a notification from DPD that they were expecting my parcel.

Then about 36 hours later another DPD message arrived, saying it was coming that day, (which it did).

I was looking at these in the summer but decided against it as they are apparently really dangerous. People have died due to carbon dioxide. They are banned in quite a few countries.

Well, I relieved to see I am not the only one waiting still for the Fahlo bracelets. I am quite annoyed as I seem to be bombarded with emails from them, but none about dispatch! I did get a customer experience one to rate the help given when I emailed them, which I gave a one star to stating it was a generic message and no real update.

Farmfoods have 10 packs of j2o for £4.99, that’s a good price if you stock up for Christmas.

I'm going to roll the dice and not refrigerate my cheese calendar. They are truckles which typically don't need to be refrigerated (i.e. all those little pop-up winter markets that sell them every year) - the wax keeps it fresh.

No room at the inn my fridge.

If you don't hear from me again, I've died the way I wanted to go. By eating slightly off cheese.

Crimpit seem to have a decent sale on at the moment. I’ve bought thins before, but have just gone for wraps and toastie ones.

By him one of the cheaper flamingos with the sand etc missing and buy her the giraffe. Wrap the animals up for each of them and then the loo and sand etc as a joint present on the basis that your children share a bathroom so the toys can too.....

My son likes the Hugo Boss sprays and Deodorant sticks, Just my Look is the cheapest website for them, they're usually around £10 each. In an emergency when he runs out he doesn't mind using the Ted Baker sprays which Boots sell a pack of 3 for around £12.

My cheese is here! Love how dpd believes my open doorstep is a safe place, while my excellent evri man waits every time, come hell or high water. Alas, dh has opened the cheese box and asked if I know him at all after 10 years 🤣 he is lactose intolerant, but he also eats cheddar every day, so...
