Jo Malone products are always lovely and feel like a real treat

True & the packaging is beautiful too

If someone buys me a really good book I can appreciate that but only my partner and friend can get it right.

I also love afternoon tea vouchers.

I love a good hamper and I just received this as an early Christmas gift from my aunt. It's an ethical gift box and all the products have a story of sustainability and I thought this was delightful.

Assuming it’s something I’ve not picked myself:

Good quality plush toy animals but NOT teddy bears, definitely no Ty big glitter eyes things
Milk chocolate
Animal/cat related tat of my favourite creatures, especially Siamese cats
Vouchers
Pokemon stuff
Candles
Pet stuff - dog leads in nice patterns, lovely food dishes, toys/treats for the pets
Fluffy socks
A nice Christmas decoration
Whittards hot chocolate or flavoured teas - their Mulled Wine tea this year is to die for

I think I’m pretty easily pleased!

Nice food gifts. Chutneys, cheese and biscuit hamper, truffles, etc. Red wine.
Unusual (Italian/Spanish) tableware/cookware or kitchen utensils. Not naff, Christmas themed stuff.
Cookery books
Plants or even better, a nice terracotta pot planted with some spring bulbs
Nice bath stuff. Molten brown or loccitaine
Nice candles. White company, St Eval, Diptyque
Gift card for my favourite pub chain - Greene King
Vouchers for a local restaurant that is within staggering distance
Homemade socks/ crafty stuff from my very talented Dsil
Cherry liqueurs (edited from cheery)

I'm one of those annoying ones that doesn't want anything. I'm minimalist and don't like having too many things, I'm very fussy and definitely don't enjoy receiving something that's not 100% right. I get a decent Xmas bonus every year and can buy exactly I want. There's nothing right now that I actually want or need. Having to fake gratitude for "the thought that counts" stuff is a waste of time, money and effort. I'd much rather people not get me a gift and enjoy their money on themselves.

So many great suggestions on here. I think I’ll make a hamper up with these ideas for mum and possibly for myself too!
