@Needmorelegoi got a pack of the Doritos today just because they sound so awful I wanted to try them. Actually, they aren’t bad. They do taste like gingerbread but getting my head around the fact they are Doritos was the issue for me. I combined one with a Cheesy Dorito from my Daughter. They went well together 🤣

EasternStandard · 24/11/2025 19:19

I will be brave at some point and try them 😂
(not now because I just ate a bag of Frazzles)

I really love getting good quality hand soap from a really nice old fashioned company like Roger&Gallet. There's something ritualistic about unwrapping it from its paper and putting it in the soap dish.

Tamfs · 24/11/2025 19:40

Nice bubble bath and books for me. I would live in the bath if I could. Wine and cheese. Plants and seeds. I'm a simple creature.

Snoff · 24/11/2025 19:40

Craft kits. Doesn't really matter what it is, I'll give it a go.
Beer. We always seem to get wine or spirits instead, which I understand as they're much 'gift-ier' gifts, but I'm not fussed. Love a beer, though!
Smellies like hand cream, bar soap, lip balm, bubble bath, hand wash. I'm not fussy, it'll get used.
Sticky notes. I get through heaps, and I like cute ones.
Dried fruit and nuts. Much prefer these to sweets or chocolate.

Reading back, it's mostly all little treaty tokens I can use up. I don't need a single piece of extra stuff, and I don't want people spending much money. Just a little something is lovely!

FestiveFruitloop · 24/11/2025 19:49

Books, jewellery, perfume, nice toiletries (except hand cream - it’s complicated 😄)
. No such thing as too much of any of those things, as I keep explaining to DH. 😄

evilharpy · 24/11/2025 19:51

Scented candles
Essential oils or nice fragrance oils
Turkish delight (proper stuff in a wooden box dusted with cornflour)
House plants
Plant pots
Bag of nice ground coffee
Water bottle (don't need more but I love them)
Pretty much anything from these brands: Molton Brown, Neom, Clarins, Liz Earle, M&S Apothecary range, l'Occitane
French soap of any kind, I like the TK Maxx ones
Gin or rum, especially if an unusual flavoured one
Records
Chutney
