@TherebytheGraceofGodgoI thank you. He already has merino base layers, arm and leg warmers and thermal socks. He wears overshoes which I think are Sealskinz and has a pump that uses the little CO2 canisters (is that what you mean?).
DS - another keen cyclist - has taken on the challenge of finding winter cycling gloves. The heated ones look a bit bulky. He finds the thin silk liners, underneath his gloves, very good for keeping his hands warm. He rides a lot, and will do more now he has taken early retirement, and tends to buy anything that he thinks will be useful. Just hoping to find the elusive unicorn poo of cycling gadgets 😂😂

@Ewock I bought my silk liner gloves from Decathlon. We had a trip to Liverpool a few years ago and, although I had knitted gloves on, the wind was bitterly cold and going right through them. Anthropologie it’s such a pain, I cannot find anything to get the £20 voucher to work. I feel like an idiot. Also can’t get the Celtic and co Xmas25 to work. Honestly, I find discounts sometimes quite stressful trying to do the right thing/buy at the right time.

I've been looking on Anthropology today. I think the problem is that there's 25% off everything this weekend if you're a perks member but you can't use the £20 with another discount. I'm just going to wait until the 25% finishes and try again.

I have to buy 8 gifts for my team but I don’t have a company budget, it’s a token ‘thanks’ gift out of my own pocket. Last year I spent £7 each on a nice tin of shortbread from Marks and Spencer which was gratefully received by everyone. I don’t earn lots of money so even though £7 each seems mean when you are buying 8 it adds up.

I don’t want to get shortbread again this year, maybe chocolate but max budget is again £7. Any ideas please? Even better if I can buy discounted! Thanks 🙏
