Wow !!!is it worth messaging and asking if there is a cheaper method of post ? I feel your pain as I am Highlands and Islands for postage and they rip us off something rotten. But sometimes if they will just send Royal Mail rather than the other couriers it makes a huge difference. Might be worth a try ?

I know you've said you dont want to do shortbread again but if you don't find anything else aldi have some mini shortbread tins that are cute and £2 each, i thought they'd make good token or teacher gifts.

@Solmum1964 sounds like your DH has everything covered. I ride with a couple of groups but can’t think of any fantastic cycling gadgets they use.
I’ll add a few things I’m pleased with:
A waterproof cycling cap to go under the helmet. (I’ve got Sealskinz)
Oakley photochromic sports glasses, I’m a leisure cyclist and these are fab as they change for tunnels/shade/sun as needed.
I also use Sealskinz winter cycling gloves and they are amazing for keeping your fingers warm, in fact, they can be a little too warm on times.
If your DH ever goes in for leisure riding/touring then you could look at panniers/rack bags, I love my Ortlieb bags.

@Lashana similar, and it is really hard to find presents to suit everyone without breaking the bank but to say thanks for all their hard work (my team is also mixed ages and one vegan). If possible I like to support independent businesses rather than say Amazon. Previous years I have given glass Christmas Tree ornaments (local shop sadly now closed), reed sets and wax melts from Valente. This year I am thinking of L'Occitane gift crackers £30 for 4 crackers

Thanks to those who suggested candles etc. I manage a team of men and women, ranging from 23 to 56 years old. It’ll have to be chocolate or biscuits really x

I’ve just got some Lego keychain lights for stocking fillers from Pensense. They were cheaper than Amazon and Lego store. Free delivery over £20. I got a nutcracker one for my nutcracker obsessed daughter and a gingerbread man one too.

I bought my team panettone’s last year - I also have no company budget so it comes from my pocket and I was struggling! I bought the Lidl deluxe ones for roughly £6 each - I got a mixture of pistachio, coffee/chocolate and traditional and they seemed to go down well. An alternative to shortbread etc if you’ve done that last year!

Has anyone seen any offers on electric toothbrushes please? Not an exciting Christmas gift but it is a request! Many thanks

@Lashana - what about a chocolate advent calendar? They had some Cadbury’s Heroes in Lidl and Aldi today which looked quite substantial.

Or, if they all drink coffee, you could get the Costa syrup set or the Costa powder set from Boots. Slightly over budget at £7.50 each, though.

M&S are doing their nice light up tins too - biscuits or tea - which would come out under budget and be a nice keepsake.

Can anyone advise whether kids crocs and women's crocs in the same size are the same (or are kids ones narrower) please? A friend is lusting after Crocs slippers but would never buy them for herself and my browsing has shown her size in the kids version at £26 vs £34.99 for the adults.

If she really would need adults ones, does anyone know where I could get a black pair for under £34.99 delivered please? Thank you 😊
