Does anyone have any recommendations for a 4 and 6yo- my internal ‘theme’ for presents this year is OUTDOORS IS FUN FGS. Dragging them out is an absolute challenge. So far I’m thinking stuff to build a tree house (rope ladder/buckets pullies etc) and maybe some big truck tires to roll down the hill? We have a forest! We have a field! Why won’t they bloody play outside?!! 😭

@BeeKeeping do they have warm clothes to wear outside that you don't mind them getting dirty? when mine were small we had a basket of "garden clothes" kept by the back door that they could do anything in - up trees, covered in mud etc. Also warm enough? i bought the polarn o pyret all in one fleece lined snow suits, kept them toasty in all rain and cold. don't be afraid to wedge the older one in one, my DS wore an all in one until he was about 8.

im guessing they've got a playground? TP toys do good black Friday deals. go karts? i love the idea of ropes etc. good luck!

Hi Christmas preppers. I remember some heated socks discussion on a previous thread which i ignored but now think would be a great preasent for post outdoor swimmer (and self, tbh). Typically i cant find the previous rec and do really want a recommendation rather than chancing it on Amazon. Can I ask you how tough these are please?

I've looked at them for a few years and these seem a good price. But... we have a cat who chews up everything cardboard and the magnets inside could easily be lethal if swallowed, so I've avoided as I can't tell in the photos if they could be torn. May be helpful to know for anyone with little ones still in the house too? Thanks x

I got the anthro code, entered it and then it automatically disappeared during the payment section and subsequently charged me full price. I've cancelled, but the delivery charge has not been refunded. I've also tried to reorder but the code now says maximum uses.

Hollister has sale stuff on buy one get one half price, they also do £10 off £40 for new customers/signups, delivery is free over £50. All 3 stack, good deal, if you can find styles and sizes you want.

@BravoBuild i have had socks from Temu. Super cheap and really good. Dogs and people’s faces and they’re really thick (annoying so for me who has hot feet) and good quality

I dont think the magnets are brilliantly strong, as in they stick together fairly well but also easier to come apart than say magnatiles. But I have no concerns about them breaking and the magnets coming out/being swallowed. I've had them since my youngest was 3 and we've not had problems with putting them in his mouth etc. I hope that's helpful!
