This post is a work in progress and if you have any links you’d like to share or would be good to add then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links (is that the right word?) And any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of MN filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!
If you have any referral links then please post on this thread:

Just had a shuftie at Amazon Black Friday - not wowed by anything - all the usual deals.
i was holding out for price drops which haven’t happened, but i saw on a bargain page that new deals drop each day, so I’m holding off for now.

Broken12 · 20/11/2025 05:21

Incase anyone else has been waiting for baby born Emily to drop in price…dropped from £55 to £38.49 on amazon

also the earth version of the DJ anthology books is £9.48 (I’m slowly getting the whole collection as they drop in price)

Turtleoo · 20/11/2025 06:21

I'm disappointed with Amazon Black Friday so far. The standard discount seems to be 15% on things on my list, and nearly everything has been that price a month or so ago anyway. I know they do new deals every day, but do discounts historically get larger on the same items does anyone know? Not sure whether to order today or not!

IamChipmunk · 20/11/2025 06:33

@Turtleoo I thought the same! Some things they have put the price up in the last couple of weeks to 'drop' it back to normal and pretend its on offer!

In my experience if its on a black fri offer then it is unlikely to drop further. However, on occasion it happens they will refund the difference. I've had it happen a couple of times over the years.
They do a black fri price promise usually.

Merrow · 20/11/2025 06:49

Melissa and Doug ice cream set is down to £25 on Amazon, which is pretty good.

Shootingstar2018 · 20/11/2025 06:54

Nintendo have some brilliant Black Friday discounts on games, so I spent last night setting up my sons switch (the neon one!) and downloading a few bargains! Lego worlds £3.24, Lego ninjago £3.49 and Lego city undercover £3.99. That should definitely keep him busy on Christmas day!

First time posting but long time lurker, not sure how to do short links/hide personal details etc so apologies but … L'Oréal Paris Elvive Glycolic Gloss 4 step bundle (the pink one) is about the cheapest I’ve seen it on Amazon at £22.78

RainbowZebraWarrior · 20/11/2025 07:13

This rolife book nook that was half price at £20 earlier this week has gone up in price but now has a 50% voucher taking it down to £15 odd when you check out. We buy a lot of these and happy with that deal

Theraffarian · 20/11/2025 07:17

Amazon Haul is a bit of a pain , since they added lots more things to it I had a basket ready to go with the next big discount . However when I’ve gone to check out today I realise that half are being delivered from the UK and don’t count in terms of any discount. So just a warning to check if it says things are being dispatched on different dates as you may not be getting the discount on it all.

whoknows1230 · 20/11/2025 07:17

Another one here disappointed by Amazon’s offerings this morning. I have a BF wish list set up of all the things I want to buy for Xmas and barely any of them have come down in price.

I’ve been doing the wish list thing for a few years now and usually a good 80% of it reduces in price. This year it’s more like 25%.

QueenOfThorns · 20/11/2025 07:20

The Philips clothes debobbler that was recommended yesterday has gone down to £7.99 www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00E3862DE/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&th=1

@User202242 Thanka for highlighting the hamster bitzee! Have had it in my basket for ages, and it's the best it has been in that time.

FLOWER AND WHITE

Flower and White have just sent an email for 50% off their bundles.

I was introduced to them on this thread last year and loved them.

I have ordered the bundle that was already on offer for £44 so got 35 bars for £22 delivered.

These are really lovely.

I don't know how to link but Guinness Book of Records is a good price on Amazon today. I know a lot of people were looking at this on other threads as a stocking fillers.

Does anyone think there going to do a 70% off for Black Friday? As this current offer ends 27th

@WineandDine I bought the cloud striped fleece duvet set from M&S recently for my DD and it’s lovely, soft, and relatively thick. We’re pleased with it. Can't link from the app but you’ll find it easily enough.
