Hi, I went rl shopping today and saw a few bargains:
40% off ‘almost everything’ in Claire’s, including some very cute magnet JellyCat food dupes. Originally £12 for two, 40% off brings them to £7.20. They would make a nice stocking filler for an older child, (assuming you have somewhere to stick them such as a magnetic noticeboard or the fridge).
Sad to say, but some RI shops are closing down at very short notice. My local had 50% off everything today and is closing on Sunday. (I felt very sorry for the staff, they were only told last week.) At the risk of sounding ghoulish, they did have some bargains, so it may be worth checking your local, (or visit it anyway, and maybe keep it open 🤞).
Lovisa have a BF special in-store: £10 for five pairs of earrings, including some Xmas studs. They also had other pairs at £15 for 5. They would make good gifts if needing to buy for a lot of teens/tweens with pierced ears -I.e. a big party or a large friendship group.
M&S had the light up tins in stock, (I would have bought one but am holding out for a Sparx offer).
On an unrelated note: Not very Xmassy - but if anyone is annoyed by o2’s decision to hike charges mid-contract, MSE is urging people affected to either dump them for a cheaper provider or phone up and haggle. I did the latter today and was able to change to a cheaper tariff that wasn’t available to me online. Worth doing, if only so I have more to spend on Xmas things!
