@ILoveCatsAndKittens I have purchased some weird stuff after perusing MN, but your owl poo recommendation takes the top prize. (I remember dissecting a pellet at school - DS will love it, and even if he doesn't, I will!) Thank you :)

(Sorry derailing the thread to say an owl pellet is not poo. It comes out the other end to poo 😂)

I went shopping IRL on Monday and saw some coffee syrups in The Range and B&M (see pics) as someone on one of the threads asked about them.

Also managed to buy a popcorn set in TKMaxx (see pic) so thank you to whoever mentioned Home sense on the previous thread as it reminded me to try TKMaxx. I also bought my DS 12 years a Nike t-shirt and sock set for £12.99 and a Nike Air Jordan hoodie for £24.99 instead of £65.

Saw today in Asda that they’re selling adult pyjamas for £9.98 and kids for £4.98

Aldi have got Christmas themed ones for £6.99, just bought my BIL a pair

My anthroperks candle arrived smashed. I took photos, and a video of opening it as I could hear it was broken. A quick chat with customer services and they’ve resent it. I’ve asked they use some sort of packaging as it was just in an outer large cardboard box. Quickly sorted, so fingers crossed the next one arrives safely as it looks and smells really nice!

@TheBigFish The Simple FishingGuidebook - I really recommend this book It’s by a young fisherman who has a fantastic YouTube channel with really good informative videos (& And no swearing!) It’s marked as sold out at the moment because he’s away for the next two weeks. So one to check back on in December?
My son’s both have it and we’ve given it as presence to lots of their friends As they’ve got into fishing.

@UrbanMage - my eldest was given a golf ball stamp - Works pretty well - You can get them from Temu. I wouldn’t pay any more than that though.

@dancemomI have got the metal Guzzler water bottle from Sho (well technology I have one, if I ignore the other 2 in the wardrobe for myself!)
It went on holiday to Egypt and it was amazing. Easy to clean. Has never had a bad smell (but when it does just put a dental cleaning tablet and hot water in, leave for a couple of hours and smell will be gone), and I don’t have to worry about it going mouldy like a couple of my plastic ones have (around the straw).
it got dropped about a dozen times before it got a bit of a dent. I love it

Thank you, I’ve just brought two to save me queuing at Lidl on Sunday. I know they’re a bit more expensive then at Lidl but worth it for me to save the 20 min drive and no guarantee of getting them!
