This post is a work in progress and if you have any links you’d like to share or would be good to add then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links (is that the right word?) And any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of MN filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!
If you have any referral links then please post on this thread:

DD is after the ted baker raspberry and orange blossom body spray but it's been discontinued :(
Does anyone know if any are still being sold or if something like eBay would be my best bet?

I've also got a bottle of this unused which I can send to you if you would like it

VeruccaSalty · 17/11/2025 15:55

I have to buy three, THREE, wireless x box controllers which are £45 each on Amazon. Anyone got a brainwave on how to get cheaper?

WimbyAce · 17/11/2025 16:06

Can anyone recommend something cheap and cheerful for a girl age 6 please? Looking for a little birthday gift and I keep dithering and still not got anything!

dancemom · 17/11/2025 16:12

I’m looking for a water bottle for MIL but the metal kind rather than plastic. Any nice bargainous suggestions?

dancemom · 17/11/2025 16:14

Also, I’m looking for some type of outdoor lighting / decoration thing for Christmas but it must be non tacky, warm light rather than cool and under £50 🤞🏼

Mumto3thatsme · 17/11/2025 16:14

Thank you for the bamboo pillow recommendations in the last thread, praying they help reduce my headaches, can’t wait for them to arrive!

PumpkinSpicedTea · 17/11/2025 16:15

I got two boxes of the Grüum samples! Checked and I definitely only paid one postage.

Got my Anthropologie code and need to decide what I'm getting before they stop it 😂 What's everyone been buying?

We bought ds2 the 2025 iPad (I don’t understand numbers) on very with the 20% new customer discount on credit accounts. We’ve also got him the pencil as they had that too. It’s definitely worth a look on there.

Thank you @FurForksSake😬

luvabellawilleatme · 17/11/2025 16:39

hi, all over my Facebook are adverts for little retro handheld gaming machines with thousands of old games included, I am very tempted for my son and husband but I can’t work out if they are a scam or not! They seem to be about £30 each which is cheap if they are good but a bit expensive if they are rubbish if you see what I mean! Does anyone know anything about them?

We've bought various things from Lights4fun before and they've been decent quality. They also currently have a Black Friday sale on Christmas lights x

Sorry this was in reply to @dancemom above!

GiddyDog · 17/11/2025 16:44

Very niche request but this is such a busy thread I can only hope!
DS is obsessed with the YouTuber Moriah Elizabeth and needs this one figure to complete his set but we have had no luck finding it. I've been keeping an eye on vinted and eBay but no opened ones have appeared and I resent spending a fortune on blind bags when chances are he'll just end up with doubles of one of the ones he already has. So I'm throwing it out to MN that if anyone has this dino-in-a-bear-suit that they're willing to sell or sees one anywhere I would be forever grateful.

GiddyDog · 17/11/2025 16:46

@luvabellawilleatme DH has one that plugs into the tv like a fire stick and a handheld Gameboy type one, I think both were under £20 from Ali express or similar. They're decent enough for the money but don't get much used after the initial novelty wore off. The handheld is better than the stick one.

Butterontoast · 17/11/2025 16:47

Any recommendations for nice quality earrings suitable for a teenager? I loved the ones posted the other day but missed the offer.

IAmLadyWhistledown · 17/11/2025 16:54

Apologies this may be late to the party but I remember seeing this brand mentioned on the previous thread.. Owala x Starbucks bottles released today.. got a message notification on my Starbucks App (just in case it’s helpful to anyone) 🎄

Thanks to whoever originally posted the celtic&co code. I've just ordered sheepskin insoles for the kids - for our trip to Lapland.
I bought some for myself an year or two ago from a similar offer and they're lovely.
You can also collect for free - but they are based near Newquay so not cost effective for me 😆

I've also signed up to anthropologie and have been browsing the site. Loads of lovely but pricey stuff. I'm hoping I get the discount code, currently town between ordering something for myself or my MIL.

Talisin · 17/11/2025 16:59

Bit odd that Starbucks are doing Owalas when they aren’t supposed to be used with hot liquids. I mean I know you can get iced coffee and the like but this time of year surely Starbucks main trade is in hot drinks?

IlovePond · 17/11/2025 17:03

Starbucks sell a lot of cold drink containers. I’ve got an unused glass one knocking around somewhere!

Can I ask what is so special about Owalas? I had never heard of them until this thread and now I am curious.

Thanks

Do you have a Very credit Account?
You can get 20% off? You might need to doublecheck the controllers are included, though

How much do you want to spend? Smiggle still have some awesome bits in their clearance sale. The Hello Kitty pencil case I’d reduced to £5 which is a fabulous gift on its own but could add some scented pencils or something. Unfortunately I can’t find a free delivery code but is is still bargainous.
