Posting on behalf of the lovely @Reastie

This post is a work in progress and if you have any links you’d like to share or would be good to add then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links (is that the right word?) And any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of MN filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!

If you have any referral links then please post on this thread:

Mariah will be singing All I want for Christmas before we know it, and it's only 46 days until Christmas, so let's get those bargains, folks!

Is anyone else having issues with the Whistlefish website? Just spent half an hour picking 28 cards and now it won't load, keeps coming up with a privacy error 😭

User202242 · 15/11/2025 21:29

Someone was looking for Spongebob toys? This is on TKMaxx!

DS has asked for the Lego Harry Potter Aunt Marge’s visit. I’ve already bought a few presents and wasn’t expecting another big item but he’s consistently mentioned it for a few weeks now.

Cheapest I can find is £57.99 on Very & Amazon and £59.99 on John Lewis. Does anyone know of any codes/deals or seen it cheaper elsewhere please?

Thanks for this! I’m tempted by the fingerless gloves 🤔

I got the fingerless gloves for my sister last year and they were lovely.

FurForksSake · 15/11/2025 21:34

@SugarCookieMonster with very they are doing 20% off for a new credit account? Not sure if there is a minimum spend.

FurForksSake · 15/11/2025 21:38

@N96 I can’t get the Celtic and co to work, was in only on specific items?

CrimboPourLesKids · 15/11/2025 21:43

Can I please ask for ideas for stocking ideas for a 5yo and 1yo? The 5yo has a girls accessories advent calendar so I don’t want to go for more accessories, will get some stationery bits. Maybe a craft pack from Hobbycraft. No idea for the 1yo! I’d like to do something that will occupy them throughout the day and hold their interest.

BananaPeachPie · 15/11/2025 21:45

I think my 11 year old would love the Rolife scenes. someone mentioned that there are 2 levels of them. Can anyone suggest a good starter set for her? Preferably from temu or similar.

It only works for items that are full price. They have a lot discounted at the moment!

Chocolateteabag · 15/11/2025 21:46

@FurForksSake- Celtic code only works on full price items - not anything in their Black Friday sale section sadly

For 1 year old - stacking cups, squeaky eggs, depends on how big your stocking is these might fit in!
Ours loved a popper fidget toy thing, it was a big hedgehog from b&ms

Primark has tonnes of stocking ideas at the minute, I got a Spiderman slinky for £1.50, but so much themed bits! What about a hair brush, fidget toy, tooth brush, Bath bomb, fluffy socks? I also picked up blink box lego mini figures but that is pretty child dependant but so many blind boxes these days that suit lots of ages! Chocolate coins are always a winner! One year old, I would maybe do a small soft toy, baby fidget and bath toys? Fun bath sponges usually go down well too!

Just checked says excludes sale, cleaning products and gift cards expires December. I thought it was a generic code. just tried it myself on the fingerless gloves but says its expired !!!
I don't understand why it is not working, sorry.

Thanks for the new thread @RainbowZebraWarrior 💕 oh lovely wise MNs does anyone know if Nike ever do a BF sale? DW wants these specific trainers Nike air Jordan even with BL discount on the Nike website they are £110, not sure if I should just suck it up and order them or if anyone has seen any bargains or codes around?

Similar issues in that I need to buy a gift from
Nike! I checked my emails as I remember buying clothes this time last year and last Black Friday there was a code for 25% off. If you’re not a member may be worth signing up now so you get the emails! Im hoping for the same this year 🤞

Dinosweetpea · 15/11/2025 21:55

Did anyone get the Anthropologie voucher code through? I only got the 10% one, wondering when I give up and buy elsewhere!

valentinoandme · 15/11/2025 21:56

@Dinosweetpea not sure how long you've waited but apparently it arrives after 4 days.

I registered Wednesday and got my code this morning

FurForksSake · 15/11/2025 22:01

Yes, I tried the Celtic and co on the fingerless gloves and it didn’t work. But I couldn’t work out if that was because they were turtle doves.

FurForksSake · 15/11/2025 22:01

Thank you for the assistance, I’ll try and play around with it tomorrow.

MamaClausToTheRescue · 15/11/2025 22:02

I’ve just worked out that you can get £10 of vitamin wellbeing patches from The Patch Collective for free using a referral link, as it gives £10 off but there’s no minimum spend.

It’s not a typical gift but I’m making up some hampers for a weekend away with my friends, so I bought the “recovery” ones as they’re apparently amazing for avoiding a hangover.

They come in themes such as wellbeing, metabolism, women’s health, calm / sleep and lots of others. They seem to have very good reviews from what I’ve seen, (especially these recovery patches 🥂🍸🍷), so if they prevent a handover for me, I’ll definitely be stocking up for the festive season!

There are some nice themed bundles for £10-12 so for example you can buy a bundle for £10.99 and only pay 99p plus £1.99 postage.

I’ll stick my referral link on the other board in case anyone wants to follow suit.

CrimboPourLesKids · 15/11/2025 22:03

@JG24 @User202242 thank you those are good ideas. I am having a mind blank. The 1yo is a hard one as a lot of the little bits are for 3yo and over. She doesn’t love a fidget toy. I will put mini packs of snacks in too.

skkyelark · 15/11/2025 22:04

For people looking for magnetic tiles, Argos have 33-50% off some Magnatiles sets.

Great! These sound perfect as a stocking filler for our mid-20s Christmas guest (I’m 10 years older and can’t remember what I liked back then!).

Sorry to ask, could you link the referral thread please? I can usually find it but having problems tonight.

Hi all

Please can someone give me any kind of angle for my father in law he’s really difficult to buy for, we just know he likes Bob Mortimer but already bought his recent book for his birthday. Seems to like the fishing show he’s on?

Also my girls love KENJI and flying tiger, anyone know any other shops that are similar to these that sell online, just realised kenji don’t.

thanks!

The hat that bob mortimer wears in the fishing show has become quite popular with men of a certain age. It’s a Stetson. Maybe your FIL would like one?
