Hello from anothrr collector / builder of rolife. I also do it with teen DD. A brilliant activity as you say. I have the Christmas house and usually I buy from an ebay seller called 3d puzzles and this is all they sell. The house was only £15.99 which I realise now was a huge bargain. They are also currently selling the tree for £39, so can recommend looking them up for comparison (theres currently an extra % off whixh runs regularly). Those Ali express prices are really good (though they are fibbing about the RRP for sure) The Christmas house is sold out from my seller now which is a shame as I wish I'd bought more for gifts. I'm going to get the Sakura / Japanese one from Ali express though as its the cheapest I've seen by about £5.

I had actually contacted them this morning because I wasn't super happy with the Plus Catalogue content for kids (it used to be really great, now it's a bit meh) and they offered me three months for £4.49 (half price). But after the tip from FeyreandRhysand I contacted them again and they gave me three months for free! Plus a bonus credit for the first month (so two credits, with one credit a month after that), then because they were cancelling my old subscription and taking out a new one and there was still time left on the old one, they gave me another credit.

My DS will be happy! So thanks again @FeyreandRhysand !

I’ve been watching JL for weeks now and today their Beats have gone from £199 to £99! I’m absolutely made up, bought them.

Also their Armani aftershave was £55 for smaller bottle which I was about to buy but when you spend £75 on Armani you get £15 so I bought the bigger bottle that was £77

I managed to get the free shipping over £10 as I’m a pro member 🤪 clearly I buy too much elf make up 😅 x

I made sure I had £20 in my basket added the £10 off first then the birthday reward x

I've gone down a rabbit hole! Theyre all amazing. You can get the Christmas house in a bundle of all 3 from the seller you use. I am very tempted.

Little bit niche but possibly helpful for the pet owner in your life?

Omlet have twenty per cent off almost everything for black Friday which you can stack with the ten per cent off and free delivery code for signing up with their newsletter (although I had to add it a few times before it applied so check!). Still not the cheapest but really good quality and well designed bits and pieces at all price points. As far as I'm aware it's the only site wide sale they do.

@RainbowZebraWarrior I've made the Sakura booknook if you want any pics or anything. Actually, I think there's two Sakura booknooks from Rolife, the other one is in my "to be built" stash that DH doesn't know about 😜

I've also build a lot of other "full size" kits if anyone else wants pics. Roife tend to have two different types - the slightest easier, mostly click-together kind, and the very labour intensive ones that require tools, glue, pliers etc. I love the latter but the former definitely better for kids.

There are also some other really good companies. I'm building this kit at the moment (amazon link but I got it cheaper from AliExpress) everyone on the Rolife Facebook group raves about it (it's not Rolife though) - it's pure joy. Fiddy AF, the way I like it!

AliExpress searching tip: Rolife / Robotime are the same company, they sometimes list using one or other.

Some bargains:

EE have Beats for £98 and the Pro ones for £148 (saving of £200!) in their Black Friday sale.

New Look vouchers have 25% off at Tesco(physical voucher or e-voucher).

Just in case people wanted closure on why the 70% off code that was shared on page 7 didn't work, this was the reply from Yoto support:

"The discount is offered specifically to customers with an old faulty Yoto Player or Mini, and it’s intended to be used toward purchasing the new model. This means the discount will only apply to the account where it was issued."

Which apparently is why it initially applies to the basket/checkout, but then when you either login or choose guest checkout it removes it if your account does not have the code enabled. Still quite annoying to see it apply, and then go away 😂

Hopefully the black friday discounts start soon! Remember the discounts for sales and referrals etc apparently stack together, so try that. Im hoping the black friday discount will be around 20%, plus the referral discount adding an extra 10, making 30%, and then the 10% from the Yoto Club will basically pay for the first month of the club. Any other suggestions welcome :)

Birthday reward? I cant seem to find this on my account? Os your birthday in November and that's why you've got the birthday gift?

If anyone sees discount codes on Urban Outfitters, please do let me know. DD wants the Iets Frans joggers (like every other teen girl in these parts) but they are a bit spendy.

Someone asked about Switches earlier - I'm hopign the Switch 2 comes down and have set up an Amazon price alert but if anyone spots any discount codes at other outlets that sell it...

Thank you for the heads up on the Echo dot bargains, I only really wanted 1, but 2 will come in useful when I eventually get my house sold and have my own space.
