Posting on behalf of the lovely @Reastie

This post is a work in progress and if you have any links you’d like to share or would be good to add then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links (is that the right word?) And any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of MN filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!

If you have any referral links then please post on this thread:

Mariah will be singing All I want for Christmas before we know it, and it's only 46 days until Christmas, so let's get those bargains, folks!

Home Bargains have some sweet bits, like the panda biscuits. Might have more but it’s not something I’ve ever particularly looked for.

@ChristmasMad1 Lidl had matcha pocky today

Thanks for this - you sure they’d be genuine?

IME Onbuy is a bit dodgy. I'd avoid, personally.

TrustPilot reviews are good, so I'll give it a chance.

Can anyone recommend somewhere to get a necklace for a teen boy? I have no idea what sort of jewellery is cool. Definitely don’t want to spend too much as he will probably lose it!

Lewiscapaldiscat · 13/11/2025 20:55

Thanks to the poster who suggested signing up to Anthropologie - got marshmallow jellycat delivered for £8.95

Carrie76 · 13/11/2025 20:57

@Lewiscapaldiscat how did you manage that?!

Justkeepsmilingx · 13/11/2025 20:58

Someone was after coffee / hot choc / milk syrups.

We Use them in coffee or hot milk and so I went to get some today while in TKMaxx.

They had loads for £3.80 and £4.99 - 750ml bottles. Also had some for £5.99 slightly bigger bottles I think.

Anyone know anything about Play Stations please? DS is looking for a PS5 for Christmas. I’ve no idea what i’m looking at when i see all the various ones. Whats the best to get, one that takes discs or not? He currently has a PS4. Thanks for any advice

PurpleSock · 13/11/2025 21:00

A few threads back someone mentioned an alternative to a gro clock that was better, something to do with different colours? Does anyone recall what the recommendation was?

Real life shopping today Matalan have 20% off their Christmas shop in store (not sure if also online)

Also Asda George have up to 50% off some stock online, I was mainly looking at babies/young kids stuff but the same stuff was full price in store so worth checking!

I’ve bought stuff off them and it’s all been fine! (Water jug filters and I’ve just got a new step ladder this week!)

Edit: nearly forgot! I got a ladies Citizen watch last year. Really happy with it, box and paperwork look genuine,

MaybeItsTimeForMeNow · 13/11/2025 21:44

I've bought "lego" from on buy when my son wanted all the ninjago minifigures and a) they were all in separate sets and b) i couldn't afford them! I bought a set of the main figures and I couldn't tell the difference. Arrived quickly and son was over the moon

Yes please dO tell!

Fancyateapottea · 13/11/2025 21:58

I’m after a Jellycat carniflore teddy, either Priscilla or Tammie. My little boy has the John Lewis advert Venus flytrap teddy and wants to get him a girlfriend but they’re all sold out 👀
If anyone comes across one in stock please let me know 🙏

Was it the Yoto? We found it better because you can choose the colour- the blue of the groclock seemed to disturb DD, we have the Yoto set to red

My DD also wants one of these may try too. 🤞

I think your on about the Philips hue go. I’ve not got one, I just remember the name!

MaggieSansoni · 13/11/2025 22:33

I posted a few days ago about jellycats at Anthropologie as someone was after the hot chocolate one. If you sign up to Anthroperks, they send you a discount code for £20 which I used to buy the marshmallow jellycats. With p&p it cost me £8.95 instead of £25 - hope this helps.

Fancyateapottea · 13/11/2025 22:35

@Carrie76 Thanks for looking but it’s a smaller version than the original.

FurForksSake · 13/11/2025 22:35

We have hue bulbs and they are brilliant, you can change the colours, put them on timers to dim and brighten and certain times, very easy to set up and use.

hugsandpugs · 13/11/2025 22:37

Has anyone used the beauty store for perfumes before?

Just been looking on there and seen that they have a set of Marc Jacob’s perfumes - 100ml honey and 100ml dot for £49.99 with a free cosmetics bag!

Want to get an Armani aftershave but struggling to know which sites are authentic, I don’t want to buy a rip off version

I just received an order from the Armani Beauty website itself and am really pleased with it. I got an amazing deal with 5 freebies but sadly the code no longer works, however there is currently 20% off site wide (no code needed) and if the aftershave you want is in the Last chance section then the code BEAUTY gives 30% off plus a free makeup pouch and 2 sample scents, one of them is 15ml and boxed (see pic). You can also pick 3 free testers with your order, will do another post to show how

I have just signed up but only been emailed a 10% off code - is there a seperate email or a way to get the £20 off? Thanks
