Posting on behalf of the lovely @Reastie

This post is a work in progress and if you have any links you’d like to share or would be good to add then please do let me know. The general consensus for the thread is to share any bargainous links, ideas and/or discount codes or information. No affiliate links (is that the right word?) And any referral links to the separate thread linked below. This is a warm, friendly, kind and cosy corner of MN filled with Christmas cookies and hot chocolate - let’s keep it that way!

Does Jellycat get much more stock before Christmas does anyone know? My dc have a few on their lists but all been out of stock for a while

MrsMattSantos · 13/11/2025 12:34

@Itsanadventure I’ve sometimes had more luck getting Jellycats from other retailers, rather than the jellycat site. lots of small independent stores sell them, as well as the like of Lisa Angel, John Lewis, Selfridges, Liberty and Harrods.
but I wouldn’t rely on them coming back into stock on jellycat - my DD wants one that has been OOS since the day it launched, so I share your pain

hby9628 · 13/11/2025 12:39

theres a local independent near me that had the jellycat Robins & Marshmallows last week. They’ve got some Xmas stock on their website still

Itsanadventure · 13/11/2025 12:58

Thanks, I’m debating on whether to buy wait or buy from Vinted incase they sell out on there the nearer we get

Can I ask - are they legit?!!! Some nice bits on their clearance page and free delivery makes it very tempting!!!

I’ve used them before, I bought a couple of sample bottles of perfume from them. People on hotdealsUK rate them, which is why I went for the sample bottles.

Christmasmcchristmasface · 13/11/2025 13:17

There’s a lovely independent jelly cat retailer near me that sell a huge range of jellycat - see their place on Facebook - Harrison’s of Greyabbey (Co Down Northern Ireland)

On Thursday 27th Nov they are doing a special 20% off everything inc Jellycat.
last year they took phone orders and posted for a small fee for anyone not local

if you are local call down in person they’re cafe is amazing!

Does anyone know where I can get some cheap syrups for coffees? My DD has started drinking flavoured coffees and loves any flavoured coffee, but don't want to shell out a lot if it just a phase

TK Maxx often have these and sometimes different flavoured coffees in store by the tills

tellmewhenthespaceshiplandscoz · 13/11/2025 13:46

Thanks @sillygoof😊

MrsClausCanCanCan · 13/11/2025 13:52

Free delivery at Mountain Warehouse on now and MWAW20 gets an extra 20% off even sale things.

They've got some good stocking fillers like ladybird/snail wind up torches (3.99), a kids head torch (4.79) and nice patterned enamel mugs (3.99).

QuaintGreenFawn · 13/11/2025 13:58

@redjoker I have a necklace from Atolea that's not tarnished. They've a sale on at the moment (though I think they often do)

These are supposedly Anthropologie dupes for £4, picked one up in my local B&M today.
Also worth checking the stationary isle, lots of things down to 10p including these Staedtler pens which are £8 on Amazon.

Also added a couple of these Jellycat type key rings to my Amazon Haul order earlier this week, not sure what they’ll be like but good stocking filler hopefully

Loads of cups on Vinted.

Also i bought a Canva file on Etsy for about 80p to make a pot noodle look like the noodles the girls eat in the movie. Great buy. You can buy plushies on ebay / etsy / temu / ali express too.

PearlTeapot · 13/11/2025 14:21

Jellycat released 4 new colour mini bunnies for their christmas drop but they're out of stock everywhere, they've just come in on Bob and Blossom so I've ordered. Don't know how long they'll stay in stock as they fly out but might be good for anyone, theyre £18 each: link

Also you can set up stock alerts for various ones you want on Jellycat and John Lewis for ones you want. I also like Temptation Gifts, Selfridges, Harrods, Trotters etc for them. However they often come in stock for literally 30 mins so you have to be on it.

I do not recommend Vinted as it's flooded with fakes that are bad quality. There's a Facebook group called Jellycat UK “The Plush Life” for genuine collectors which is the best place for getting retired or rare ones.

My dd picked up the jellycat Robin in a small Independent shop last week, they seemed to be out of stock everywhere else, we didn’t go in there intending to buy one, they only had a few different ones in stock as apparently jelly cat are now concentrating on stocking bigger shops. They had the Robin, marshmallows and the snow globe.

My daughter wants a dressing gown a towelling one that she can put on after showering at the gym etc. She already has a fluffy one and an Oodie but wants something that can help dry you. Any recommendations please?

The Towel Shop currently has a sale on, have no idea of the quality but I've just taken a punt on an adult Egyptian cotton robe for ~£16 delivered.

discounts; BEST10 (for 10% off each item in your basket)

IF you subscribe to their newsletter;
there's £5 off your first order WELCOME5 but there's a minimum spend (of £40.00 + vat to get the fiver off)

Unsure if the codes stack though

Does anyone know if Owala water bottles are any good? My DD needs a new bottle for high school, I’d never usually fork out that much but they do look really good

redjoker · 13/11/2025 10:05

I am looking for some gold jewellery that is tarnish resistant- im buying for someone that likes to keep jewellery on in the shower. Its a gift so dont want to go mad with solid gold, but has anyone got any nice recommendations?

There are so many jewellery websites it honestly feels a bit overwhelming and would like to avoid Etsy- as already had a look and cant see what Id like

Sorry, haven't RTFT yet but I got a D. Louise necklace for my birthday, have not taken it off for 5months and it's still looking fab! Can recommend!

They are very good. My daughter got one in America last year before they became popular over here as her American friends recommended it. It’s worth it.

I’ve got one for Mother’s Day and my DD got one last Christmas. Neither have leaked at all, and ice lasts a really long time in them, best water bottles we’ve had

Butterontoast · 13/11/2025 15:47

Does anyone know the best way to buy a yoto? Does anyone remember the black Friday discount from last year?

Seconded! I got one for Christmas last year and love it. So do my family - I've now had to shell out for ones for DH DS1 & DS2 as they were all envious of mine!

Another vote for Owala bottles - we are a fully converted Owala bottle family 🤣
